I personally also like to have the longer tf trixes on my chart as well. The two complement each other because not all red or green dots are created equal - it's good to see how far the trix that caused them is spread out. But the MTF trix indies that show you the trix do not update exactly right and thus repaint when clicked sometimes so the SwissArmy histo can keep you up to date on what the longer tf trix is really doing. which may not be reflected in the mtf trix if you are using it.

If you want an early warning for a coral cross you can also try this (gives a warning when 2 MAs are x pips from crossing) with the fast ma =1 and the slow ma = 60, s (the 60 simple approximates the coral, for an early warning it is good enough since you will monitor the actual chart when you get the warning anyway)

Thanks for the revised version of the SwissArmyHisto indicator. I intend using the same in the THV classic mode. I have set the Window 1 TF as 1M f, 5M f, 5M s, 15M f and the Window 2 TF as 15M s, 30M f, 30M s, 60M f. The 3rd window still has the original THV4 Cloud MTF. With Mode setting of “1” the histo lamps should be in the classic THV . Therefore, theoretically there should be no difference between this settings on Mode 1 and if I change the Mode to 3 . Kindly clarify.
I have configured the “alarm sytem” for giving an alarm when 3 out of 4 Lamps in the first window of SwissArmyHisto are of the same colour. However, I am getting wrong signals as per the attached picture.


I am also not sure what do you mean by saying that

With mode setting of 1, the indie looks at whatever you configured the ePeriodtype to. (With modes, 2,3, and 4 it ignores ePeriodType). I can see from your screenshot that you have, for example configured mode 1 and set the first row to 1m fast trix, which is different than classic mode.

If you added more than one instance of the indie with the alarm set to true, each of them will give you an alarm. I can see from your screenshot that the first alarm is on the EuroUSD and the second is on the EUROJPY for instance.

Also if you configure Maxscore to 3 but set countE4 to true then you will get an alarm when you have four points as well as three. This is intentional. If you don't want to include the fourth row in the alarm, set countE4 to false.

I added the coral to the indie. This means that if you use it with the defaults I posted, you will get an alarm when there is a trix cross on the 1m, price is above/below the cloud and above/below the coral (i.e THV trade conditions are met.)

The picture does show divergence, as you can see by the red arrow in the trix indie. There have been lots of posts and even a cheat sheet about divegence posted in the thread if you want to find out more about it.

I can't see where your cloud is, but if it closed above it, then yes, it's a valid trade. My partner took the same trade i believe and lost as well, can't win them all... ^^" Also, looks like my coral is a bit higher than yours, hmmm.... odd, I do have the correct value of 60 for it.

Thanks very much, I've obviously not installed it correctly as there are no indicators on the bottom of the chart window. When I right click and select indicators list, it just shows Ichimoku Kinko Hyo in the main chart, I will remove everything and start again.

Yes, very good points, and I was thinking the same last night as well. Overall, the only indicators I can take off my chart and have the Swiss indi replace them are the Coral and Cloud indicators on my main chart, and the M15 chart where I only use it to determine if the Fast Trix is green or red. The M1 and M5 Trix will need to stay because I also use the Fast and Slow Trix spread distance as a filter (which I also learned it from you, thanks ^^) and of course the Laguerre indicator.

I'll test out more about what you said with the price being overbought/sold, but I believe you're right, since price can still move quite a bit even if price is in the overbought/sold zone in that direction. Also, if let's say price is overbought, in order for a Buy to confirm again, more than likely, price will need to drop a bit for its Trix to cross down and then cross up again for entrance, giving the price again a bit more room in the upside if it decides to go up again, and could even not be overbought anymore as the result of that short term retracement.

If all goes well, my main chart will become even more cleaner, and easier to draw lines on it if need to, just the way I like it.

I don't think this will get you banned, Dean's videos have been mentioned more than once in FF. They are good and they are FREE.

I just entered a somewhat risky Sell for the Euro on the M1, mainly because the entrance candle was a long candle, so Fast and Slow Trix was a bit far from each other at the point of entrance. But I took the trade anyways since price broke below mS1 pivot line, we'll see what happens...

Also, I did note the Swiss Army Indicator, and it does indeed give me all 4 red dots at the point of entrance, so it's working great as the M5 fast trix color dot changes its color fine in according to the actual Fast Trix indicator, thanks MissPips. ^^

Note: I forgot to draw the vertical line where I entered, but it is right after the closing of that long Orange candle. I somewhat got a better entrance as well because I figure it might get a bit of a retrace since it was a long candle.

Edit: Well, that was fast, within a few minutes, my trade won, good, because news release is coming. ^^ +10 pips.

Frankfurt opens an hour before London, and London Open's movement usually has opposite movement as the Frankfurt hour's movement.

Thanks for explanation.

1) Does this mean that your 1 thv 4MTF template is not Classic THV. I have configured the SwissArmyHisto to show the same Histo lamps as your 1 thv 4MTF template.

2) Is the Classic THV mode described as, when there is a trix cross on the 1MTF, price is above/below the cloud and above/below the coral (i.e THV trade conditions are met.)

3) I have intentionally configured CountE1 to 4 as True and max score as 3 so that whenever any 3 lamps are of same colour then I should get the alarm. Apologies for the confusion about the alarm question, which I rephrase here. " the EJ alarm indicates 4 lights of same colour while the chart indicates only three" Why is there a discrepancy here.

4) Is my understanding correct that, if I add the SwissArmyHisto as downloaded, then it would give me alarm as per the Classic THV i.e conditions as (2) above.

5) Thanks for confirming the Divergence trade.

I looked here in your Template and saw the Coral you wear is the "THV Coral 4", I use the "THV Coral 3", there is a slight difference between the two versions ....

I added the two versions of the Coral in different colors in your template, so you can see the difference that exists between the two versions ....

Yes, I know it's impossible to win at all entrances, so we have to use SL .... hehe .... My only doubt was whether the entry was correct ...

As for the coral, I'm not sure if it makes a lot of difference in trade filtering, but I guess I'll stick with what's newer, which is the V4's coral.
