I think that it depends on the retail sales data, the usd needs something to give it a boost, if that disapoints, then shorts will probably be in trouble. Currently the dollar is very close to breaking down.

UJ broke 92, Gold is breaking down. Should be good for the dollar

USDCHF appears to be on target for an eventual test of 1.02560 also pending a break/close of 1.01960.

EURUSD has also re-entered under the H4 supply line but might be gaining support 1.45170.

To keep it on topic: yesterdays AUD future did not look convinced of anything more than a test. Todays spike (this chart is EOD so data from today NOT shown) could easily be interpreted as a shakeout in preparation for downmove test of 0.895 before the expiration in March.

Thanks for your great charts Clouds, sometimes I accidentally click page 1 of this thread and see you have been sticking the same simple style and great technicals all along. Very impressive.

Yes, it looks like a butterfly, but I am trying to highlight a possible move to shake out both longs and shorts this week.

Hi Sinner,

You can only post great charts if you know how to, if chart posting is important, I was wondering if you have the patience to explain to a novice the process by which you go about pasting charts into this thread. If not, I was wondering if anybody may help me out.

So London didn't want to take it up - that's interesting. 4 hour USDX could be poised for gains and to fill the gap

Still not really that clear to me unfortunately. Although they say your charts should tell you everything, I think it's waiting for a fundamental event.

I don't like the look of FXCM's retail trader sentiment though. 69% short on AUD for starters. Basically, they are dollar long on everything and that always flashes a warning signal to me.
