FXCM looks for a min. deposit and monthly volume requirements for their active trader platform.
MBT offers their ECN platform to all retail traders.
If your interested in MT4 and trade over 200mm per month, ask FXCM for a raw spread MT4. Yes, there will be a commission, but the pricing really is very good.

Minimum 25 k with FXCM , also u cant trade client to client with their active trader platform , @ MB u can trade with other clients ( u can be the bist bid or offer ) and u can open an account with just 400 $ , also the comm at FXCM is 10 $ RT for 1 standard lot for all pairs i guess , with MB it is 5.9 $ RT for 100k $ but it depends on which pair u trade...
Are you guys using MBT Navigator app? it seems to be very difficult to use than most of trading programs out there, like mt4 and FXCM's trading station. Not very friendly UI though. It's good that MBT can trade stocks.

I am trying the demo with them ( nav ) i find it very easy i like it u will get use to it , infact they offer MT4 now , btw stocks should be traded with MB from another account ...

Navigator is very easy to use and has a lot of power once you figure it out.

I attached a screenshot of my mbt navigator. are we talking the same screen? how do you insert pairs or stock name from listing other than type them in? That's why I feel pain of it.

If you want build your own template, first you'll need to change the interface of the Navigator. In the top right corner you have an arrow pointing up....click that arrow so it points down.
Now go to Navigate on the top of the tool bar and select the windows you wish to open. Each of these windows can be customized from color, size, font, order entry, etc. Right click anywhere in the window to explore more custom options.

I think it is too soon to speculate what will happen. After 10 years in the business with Stocks, Futures, Options and Forex I feel confident we will adjust accordingly.

Hmmm... could be the BOTH sided negative swap and Higher Margin Rates (computed using the currency price). Its great that you finally lowered the round-turn fees (a VERY recent event) cuz losing on swap, have less available working cash AND High RT fees was a bit much. (as well as NFA NO hedging and FIFO)
