aussie dollar is stronger against all currencies, but i think the major one is when chinese market open since australia rely greatly on china. just wait and see how chinese market will react to the news, it may cause AUD further down but it may cause it go up too. i dont trade stock, just wondering does increasing interest rate normally cause stock to go down?

Normally higher interest rate is higher borrowing costs for businesses. Yes most of times stocks suffer as a result of increase in interest rate

another marjor bank CEO just said that FEB will have to increase interest rate as the economic continue growth, from what he said it seems good news for usd. i cant translate the bank name and that guys name, dont know how

china market open falling over 2% on marjor stock

The usd has just run into some ST resistance, maybe down to 77.12 then back up. I think that this week the usd is the one to watch to guage the next direction.

The pink support at 76.99 on the LH chart is what I was looking for before a move up could happen, yesterday there was a pink top pushing it down. Therefore i think that the euro has a chance of breaking down on Wednesday, aud should follow.

its very weird that the usd on my chart is 77.06 now and the daily high today is 0.7712, funny
