no I'm just saying you know the french goverment buget is 10B higher than the one before and the yurrow went up on the news, just right there, I mean come on, I'm just a pure technical trader Jay but I always like to make sence of the news but is like you said, you can never relay on her to come up with a satisfaction, I mean if you come is because you came, that is it, but not because of the news you know, I don't know if you understand me but........

is being 30 some degries here smikester but we are not used to, all tomatoes, oranges and strawberrys frozen so now we are going to have high prices on this products on the months coming, are you coming smikester? I mean are you understanding me?

If the news told me it was dark outside, I'd make sure to bring my sunglasses. You get the idea.

These people are paid to f@#k you over. That's how Jim Cramer is the "face" of CNBC when he really should be more the "feces" of CNBC.

I feel you Jay, I feel you, I do understand wish way you are coming, Jim cramer told me last week to sold all my oranges that florida was too pack of this trees and now they are all frozen and I don't have any oranges

Japan airlines going under...

I'm not up to the details, but this is one last air company I thought would crack.

It use to have (and I think it still has) special short-range 747s. The demand for short flights was so big, it asked Boeing to develop one, so it could carry 300 people for 2h flights. Stocks plunged 45% today on rumors of bankruptcy filling ... RIP gozaimasu, or whatever...

All markets on sour note today. I think it's just the lack of important things happening... I'm still waiting for the Q4 earnings season to kick in.

I flew with them last May and their service was sub-par to the point that they made United and even Air Canada look good.

One little known story about JAL is that they once had a scandal because their second largest stakeholder had ties to the yakuza. Maybe they need a yakuza bailout. Hey, drug money worked for the banks bailout, yakuza money should work for the Japanese Airlines bailout.

It's a shame though. I don't like seeing big companies like that going sour.

Survival of the fittest. JAL has been resting on their laurels for much much too long. I hate United Airlines with a passion and I'd rather be berated by them than being cramped in a broken, not-in-the-upright position JAL flight where I get yelled at because my seat is not in the upright position because IT CAN'T BE SINCE IT'S BROKEN!

They have ANA and there's always the hope of a yakuza bailout for JAL.

United is crass, rude and in your face.

JAL is crass, rude but behind your back with a nice thick frosting of "Welcome to JAL Ak4xsan"

Frankly, I hate both of them.

United I would politely ask for a change of seat from window to aisle. Then they would call me, cheerfully announced that they changed my window seat to...another window seat.

"Thank you but I was really hoping for a window" I said "How about you say THANK YOU!" was the reply.

On the same flight, I almost got thrown off the plane because me and a friend were playing. Not causing a disturbance, not making noise but playing and the stewardess (sorry, flight attendant) decided that any display of happiness was to be frowned upon.

JAL, flying back from Nagoya, my seat was broken. Not a big deal as it was tilted a wee bit back. I couldn't bring it to the full upright position and a stewardess (sorry, flight attendant) would have to physically push the seat back. Somehow, that was my fault and I got yelled at for it.

And on the JAL flight, that's after they refused to upgrade me to first class in spite of me offering to pay more than what the entire round trip fare cost me.

Edit: Forgot to add, my next flight to Japan will be with ANA(l). If I'm going to get royally screwed, might as well be just one letter off.

And to think of aviation as a glamorous thing back in - what? from the 60s to the 80s?

The elegant Pan Am stewardesses, whyskies, smoke on board... Not that I'm that old.

By mid 90s I still could have a nice Black Label while coming back from a hard working week, enjoying a nice Lucky Strike looking out the window for a nice sunset hmmmmm And what about the MEAL??? hmmmmmmmm

There were no cancer and shit back then. Each seat had its own ASHTRAY for Christ sakes!!! Tickets cost a fortune, but who cares? Companies expenses.

Today airports are bus stations, the planes as tight as buses. Peanuts & Coke for Steak & Whisky.

And after all the cost cuts, the companies are going down, like here in Brazil that it all comes down to 2 companies for the major cities...
