I am using pivot indicator posted below, it has only standard pivots..... for emergency situations is ok for me.........

No one knows for certain, since that's not part of the manual in how we trade the THV officially. So there's only one way to find out if it works or not, and that is to do what the rest of us are doing when we're thinking about using the THV differently than how it was intended in the manual, and that is to test trade it for awhile with your personal way, record the results, adjust rules if needed, test it out again after making any changes, then let us know how it performs if you like by posting the results here. =)

Hi everyone,

The problem with the pivot indicator is due to last friday bank holiday, we had the same thing after christmas.
The indicator is unable to calculate pivot levels from the previous session. For the moment, all we can do is to wait tomorrow new levels calculated from today's session at midnight.

I thing it's beter if you get of the trade asap the fast trix change the color, you can acheive more pips, and allso you can put your sl the same way. And also try fib levels, for example: if you hit secont fib level put your sl in the first level and wate for 3rt level to hit.

Hi I downloaded the thv v4 & I get the v4 folder
in the folde I c 1) thv v4 finel.exe
2) fonts folder
3) templates .zip
so my question is where do I put the fonts folder & why do I need it
2) what do i do with the tpl zip do I have to unzip it & put it here __Crogram FilesBroco Tradertemplates_ or here

Yup, I take +10 TP after the spread is made back. So in order to actually get +10 pips TP, price must also have moved to cover the spread as well, for example, EURUSD, if I'm aiming +10 pips, price would have to actually move +12 to hit my target if spread is 2 pips since we start at -2 once we enter our trade.

That certainly is one way to go about exiting a trade, and I used to do so, getting out when the fast Trix change color with closing of the candle, but now I don't. I've seen too many trades that ended up good after getting out after the fast Trix change color, so now I just leave my trade in to either let it hit my TP or SL (I do this only with M1 and M5 scalps, I have no idea about M15 or higher scalp settings of how well that would work). But either or can be the way to trade the THV, it really all depends on the individual trader's risk tolerance and risk management. Each of my trade is only using 1.5%-2% risk of my account, so I can handle that. For example: $1000 account balance, using 0.1 lot (10% risk, or $1 per pip), but managed by only using SL of 15 pips or 20 pips, that's $15-$20 risk per trade, or actual risk of only 1.5%-2% per trade, well within manageable risk tolerance for me. But again, it's all up to which way is more comfortable for you and based on your risk management.

By the way, if you trade more than one pair, you might not want to use 15 pip SL as standard for every pair, since some pairs moves more than the others. Also, if you're trading higher time frame, you might need to use higher SL as well.

With me, when I trade the EURUSD, for M1 scalps, I use 15 pips, but if I enter a scalp trade on the M5, then I use 20 pips. For GBPUSD, I use 20 pips SL for both, which is the lowest I'll go for the Cable pair since that pair is a bit wild, and even 20 pips SL is usually pushing it for the Cable pair. The most I'll enter at once is 2 trades, which would put my risk factor at a maximum level of 3%-4%. I recommend not going over 5% risk at any given moment in your account.

You downloaded template into template folder right? Does it work? Take a look. 21 on gbp/usd

Here is what I did step by step.

From the first page I downloaded V4.zip.

I unzipped V4 and installed it. Everything installed by itself. The software found my both MT4 I have on my computer and installed everything automatically. Then I openend MT4 and wanted to start THV and saw that all indicators and the EA are installed.

So I wanted to load the template on Eur / USD. But there is unfortunately no THV templates to load. So I went to the experts folder and then templates folder to see if the templates got installed. They didn't!

So I copied and pasted the templates manually but they still don't show up in my metatrader and now I don't know what to do?? They do show up now in my template folder tho.

I also can't load the templates on any other pair. Do I have to install version 3 first and then V4??

The templates folder is not the one in the experts folder. There are 2 templates folder in MT4. The template folder is the one at the root of MT4 install. Not the templates folder within the experts folder.

The auto install should do all the installation of templates and indicators required.

Did you restart your MT4 after installing V4?
