You go off what GMT your broker is based in. For example, even though I'm living in CST time zone of +6 GMT, I'll still use +0 GMT because my broker, IBFX, based their time at +0 GMT time zone.

I too had a problem taking that out and finally figured out how...instead of right clicking and going to properties.

Right click, go to indicators list, click on "Th4 trix v1.0 under "indicator window 1", click edit, go to the very bottom and it should have the "intro" and it'll be a true, just double click and change it to false.

thats how i got mine to work.

Hello Nobitacu,

I wonder if the Coral in M5 is important inputs in M1, in its way of operating ...

For example, in M1 gives a buy signal so you enter in the M5 PA is above the Coral? Or the signs in M1 the only thing you look at the M5 is the Trix?

If we are already in a trade do we want to be out of it before a RED colored news event that is listed on forex factory. Is it okay to be in a trade when orange and yellow news are involved?

hi all,i am newbie to thv, i want to know how to delete the "before you start...", i delete them in object list,but in the next second,they display again.do i have to delete other indicator? thank you

what folder do i install Your RSI in for the metatrader4 folder??
I was trying to install it and put it in all the folders and still can not bring up the RSI...i figure i would have to load it like a template but it is not a template file, instead a mq4, and i tried to look for it to load through the navigator but have had no luck, any suggestions or help ?

If I get a trade that confirmed on my M1 chart, the only thing I look at on the M5 chart is its Trix as explained how on the post where my signature link goes to. Same thing happens if a trade was confirmed on my M5 chart, I only look at the M15 Trix for confirmation, hope that helps.

Also, I just want to stress again that right now, it is the worst time to test any method because of the current low volume and unstable PA movements during the holiday period, you'll get more false signals than usual during these times. ^^"

The yellow news are low impact, and often doesn't make much difference in the movement of the pair, so I mostly ignore it. As for the orange, it is medium impact, so it does affect the PA, especially if you're scalping. Red, of course, is high impact and will often affect the PA a lot. It is of course, always best to try to avoid trading close to the orange and red news, and it's your choice if you want to leave your open trade in with those news coming, but it'll pretty much be 50/50 of its outcome with news, best is to close the trade before release, but again, it's up to you and your risk management.

I have been looking at your posts and also at the one referenced by your signature and have a few questions about your trading style. Maybe you have answered these and if so could you point me to the page.
1) How did you use the Laquerre indicator in the trades you posted?
2) Do you mostly trade the M1 with the M5 for confirmation?
3) Which pairs have you found work best with your system?
I have been following the THV system for a while now and am starting to get a feel for it and have found Sailorx's way of trading it very interesting on the M5 chart and now I am looking at your way for the M1 or maybe a combination of the two.

Hello,

1. How the Laguerre Indicator is used.
2. I trade both the M1 entrance with the M5 Trix for confirmation, and the M5 entrance with the M15 Trix for confirmation, so two possible trades per pair.
3. The pair that I've found that worked best so far is the EURUSD pair. However, I do also trade the GBPUSD pair, and have done fine with it so far. Hopefully in the near future I can start testing which pair might work well with this method during the Asian session.

I see in your examples it agrees with Trix, but do you come across any situations where they don't agree and if so do you than stay out?

Overall, it has indeed helped me in staying out of bad trades, especially on the M1 chart entrances. While it might also cause me to lose some good trades, but we can't catch every trade either way, so if overall it has saved me many what would have been bad trades, then it's worth losing some of those good trades. If the Trix and and Laguerre doesn't agree with each other as I've stated in my rules, then I don't enter that trade. For me, that would be considered as a false signal, and more often than not, that's what it ended up being later.

Nobitacu just 1 question, do you wait for the candle to close above or below the coral before placing a trade ? or it does'nt matter.

I know for confirmation you need lag top or bottom to turn opposite color along with trix cross and have the same color trix on next higher time frame. But does it matter the where the candles are in relation to the coral ?
Look at something long enough, you will eventually get it.
