Even though my AU trade was failed at last. That's part of game. Low volume enhances the wave of trend, so my sl was touched.
But I also have a gift to you. I have found two good methods to avoid false TC signals. And I also sent them to Phillip, he agreed with me about this. So these methods could be a part of 4h MACD stragtegy. When people who want to enter a TC but not sure about it can use these methods to filter the wrong ones.

I read it and it makes perfect sense. Practice the basics along with the 4h method. Good stuff.

Hi, and Happy New Year to everyone out there. Hope people had a great break. I'm looking forward to another year of learning and improved trading with everyone here
Just entered my 1st trade for the year of G/U - a sell based on Daily PA. I never trade 4hr without viewing daily first because it keeps me out of trouble at times....like today, where 4hr gave a TC long.
Daily suggested shorts based on:
- 2 x tails (tweezer tops) at 21 level
- I also have a resistance line at 1.6233 (blue line) ... an inside top formed 16th / 17th December if you use nesting dolls
4hr cautioned longs also:
- double top with aggressive evening star on the most recent top. This cautions against taking 4hr TC longs, especially as the daily has just risen up to the 21, so longer-term sentiment is short.
Entry was on retrace at 1.6118, within the 4hr bar with white arrow above.
SL = 1.6248 (over highs)
BE = 1.6085 (21 ema and base of recent consolidation on 4hr)
TP1 = 1.6020
TP2 = 1.5937
(only trading a small account with these style setups as I'm still on the learning curve with them)
Daily has been in rectangular range since June 2009 (ie. the whole of my daily chart that I've attached) and recently bounced off the base of area on 30th December with bullish engulfing....maybe more moves to the longside over the coming days???
My daily and 4hr charts attached...

Hmmm, not quite the standard approach to taking TC's! 
Nevertheless, I'm in the same trade, so its nice to be riding the same south bound train as you. Will be interested to see your reasoning also.
