EUR/USD dips at fixing…looks like rumors were correct

EUR/USD has fallen back to 1.4385 just after the 16:00 GMT fixing so it looks like the rumors of EUR/USD selling turned out to be accurate. We were at 1.4400 ahead just a few minutes before the fixing…

USD demand continues post fix

The demand for USDJPY heading into the fix a couple of hours, has continued as we head into the afternoon. USDJPY saw an initial spike from 91.60 to 91.75 with no retracement back under 91.60. Look for 91.50 area to continue to hold this afternoon as we look to test offers at 91.80 area and above. Having said that flows are reportedly very small.

Both EUR and AUD have slipped back a touch. EUR is back towards support at 1.4350, with some buyers at that level looking for a range play back up to 1.4400.

The euro zone economy will continue to grow in 2010, but its recovery will be modest and fragile says ECB governing council member Yves Mersch.

EUR/USD holding up well

EUR/USD sits up around session highs, presently at 1.4445. Middle Eastern names have been notable buyers, helping support the pairing.

Euro also got a lift when EUR/GBP saw accelerated gains on move back above .9000. The cross is presently up at .9025 having started out down around .8980.

Technical resistances now at 1.4450 and then 1.4475/80.

I've been keeping my head down. I find it easier to trade if I spend less time trying to keep up with other peoples trades.

I just buy when ----- I think its time ,,,,,and sell when ------ I think its time.

I do look in from time to time.

Dec. 29 (Bloomberg) -- Confidence among U.S. consumers rose in December for a second month as pessimism over the outlook for jobs diminished.

The Conference Board’s confidence index increased to 52.9, in line with the median forecast of economists surveyed by Bloomberg News, from 50.6 in November, the New York-based research group said today. Another report showed home prices climbed in October for a fifth consecutive month.

I'm concerned about your health, please more be careful of your eyes, try 5 or 10 minutes look to a far point or place after look to monitor every 30 minutes, eyes rest whit look to a place far.
