Wave three has probably completed and we may now be in wave four which should take us towards 0.89, though I don't see it getting past 0.8940, then heading south again

Not sure who you are using to trade, but I assume that their trading fee is based on the spread. Keep looking, my broker only charges .00002 times the US dollar value of the trade so for example one lot of AusUsd is around $1.78 a trade.

However, up until now, it’s been just a lot of hot air to say the least. Every year they mentioned the thought of going to a single currency and that’s about as far as it gets.
Well as of yesterday, the Gulf Arab leaders came together and stated that they WILL put together a single currency for their region to use and de-link their pegs to the U.S. dollar.
They state that this will happen by 2010. That’s the part I disagree with. I think it will take them far more time to do this than they think at this point. It took Europe far longer to bring about the euro and I don’t think these guys can be much faster.
However, as far as the greenback is concerned, the negative sentiment has just deepened. Just knowing that these guys are preparing a plan right now to get rid of their peg to the U.S. dollar is all the excuse many investors will need to dump their dollars ahead of time.
Now there is more of an allure for other major foreign currencies once again due to this facet (among others).
Couple this with the recent stabilization of commodities that trade opposite the dollar (such as gold) and it gets even worse for the greenback.
So I don’t think you’re going to see the dollar repeat its success that it found in 2008. The dynamics that made it go up in 2008 are starting to erode way rather quickly.
Therefore, I believe that you will find the euro and the Aussie dollars to be some of the biggest beneficiaries of the coming “dollar selling”. "

This is very old news. It was gathering momentum at one stage but quickly wore off as markets did not believe that such a thing could happen.
Find a job that you love and you dont have to work again in your life.

I honestly don't see how this affects the dollar in a weaking way. Last time I checked Arab nations are closer to Europe. Wouldn't this have more influence on the euro than the dollar?

Regardless, I will look to make money trading the trend, up or down. Making money is the only reason I am willing to risk my money trading currency. Right now I see no reason to sell dollar. However, I will without hesitation when the time seems right. I don't let emotions or patriotism cloud my trading like skyzer. The trend is down now. Don't fight it. Make money. Good luck.

Well everyone has their own opinion, that's why for you trend is up for USD

and for me it's down and has been down, since 2000. Latest spike (in 2008)

was only due to largest recession (fly to safety). USD going down, even faster in 2010

Shorts have about 1 week to cover, good luck.

Why not just a day or week at a time? Are you really gonna hold a position or bias all year? Do you take long-term positions? Are you going long now, and when do you plan to profit? IMO, EU "may" correct, and could rise up to 1.46xx or so, but I can almost guarantee there will be nothing but sellers at that point with targets of 1.40 or lower. Trade however u wish, but you seem to have a rather political view and this is a trading forum.
