Was not expecting spikes up in GU & gj still holding shorts

Closed at 1.4400 for 238 pips gain 720 usd profit

Shorted 2 mini lot audusd 0.8900

shorted gbpjpy 145.55 1 mini lot

shorted GU 1.6107 1 mini lot

Bought eurchf 10 mini lot 1.5008

managed closing gj at 144.00 overnight for 295 pips gain 336 usd profit

shorted gj 145.40 3 mini lots

added gj short from 146.35 3 mini lot

Did this one work out for you, it was a huge drop and seeing you have taken away your SL in some past trades it could have been a killer blow. Hope you got some profits before the fall

Its still running i had gj shorts also running gj also dropped 100+ pips simultaneously and i closed that around 144 to reduce margin but now account equity is above 3500 usd everything safe

hey dude.. which broker do you use... I am trying to find one with tight spreads and obviously you use one that must be good on execution and spreads... is it Oanda? .. most seem to recommend that but many complain it is not as good as 1 year back

Oanda so far for me is fine and I have used them for trading a smallish account for the best part of this year. I have had no problems with trade execution however I cannot comment on news as I dont tend to trade a timeframe that worries about news (dailys primarily).

As for withdrawals, I dont think there is any problems. Xaron withdrew over 20K after his last venture from 10K. I havent had any reason to withdraw any funds and will actually be looking to add a little more next year. There charting package is not as good as some of the others out there but it doesnt take very long to get used to it.

And spreads are quite generous. E/U and U/J are around .9 to 1.1 at most times and I have gotten G/J at an average of 3.5 for the best part of London/New York. The added benefit is total control of units which gives you the greatest control over risk so for small accounts you effectively dont have the high leverage issues of been minimised to 10k or 100k trades as you can trade for as little as 1 unit.
