GU is not as bearish as the other pairs because their employment figures are improving. The UK economy has also been very bad but now it appears that the economy is improving compared with the last few years.
Thank Godness that I didn't open computer so early this afternoon. If I have seen the TC signal of it, I would have entered it. What ironic is it is resistanted by that trend line...

At daily chart, it is about to crack 200sma from May of this year, what do you think?

I don't know Saka. It is a good question for Welshguy2000. He is the expert on GU.

before heading out, My gbpusd trade I had bagged 35 pips and with my stop loss moved to BE got stopped out just before shooting down to the short side just like anticipated, but it's all good..........it was friday and I usually like to close the office on fridays but you can see on the chart, price has touched the 3rd fibo line from when it retraced (#3) which was a Profit target point and we might see a touch of the 4th line by monday or next week but we now have to look for new entries if this is going to be falling as the daily indicates, we have broken 200 and now we might retrace back to it and then free fall, time will only tell. you can see with the big arrow where i got stopped out with that little spike to the upside but again rather see a winner close a winner instead of a winner turning against you into a loser.

Hi Saka,

i think we are getting the right price actions to make this pair to become bearish, most of the time frames from the 4H and up are pointing to that direction. The daily has given us a TC and price has closed below major consolidation in the past month or so. On the weekly price has bouned off of the 89sma and a divergence of the MACD and on the Monthly price seems to be forming a bearish engulfing candle after a morning star last month.................so my 2 cents is that there might be some pips to be made to the short side but again no one knows what will happen but many events point me to the short for that pair.................will have to wait and see

Thank you for the information and your help is very much appreciated.
I also think GBP will turn bearing, but I will not enter a trending trade until after the 2 fib levels have been broken. Until then it is still range bound. The 1st chart shows the weekly and where I got the fib levels from. The second shows how price has been bouncing off of them. It has been range bound for a while and only time will tell if those fib levels are broken. Just a side note, I've been shoveling snow all day...we got 2+ feet of snow/ just under 1 meter
