Hi Gt3, I have posted my view on taking 1H brakouts that did not agree with the daily, have a look on page 472 and see if makes any sense.

Please are the angle KS & TS Crossed has any effect or one of them flat during crossing ? and how this can be useful

Hi Egy, the angle is probably not important, but if the KS is flat at the time of crossing then this means there will be some sort of retracement towards the KS and possibly a fake cross especially if the KS remains flat after the cross.

Thanks for that - so you are looking at the overall picture on the daily to confirm the lower timeframes. Not JUST checking to see if price is above/below the cloud?

Presume this applies to ALL Ichi strategies?

that's right, provided that you are well aware that this is sort of countertrend trade which makes it risky as compared to the one following the trend, and the fact that I also use the main move indicator for my trend setting whch somtimes disagrees with the kumo but agrees with the breakout direction.

Gee this mthread moves along fast. Here are a couple of screen shots from tonight, Australian Time, my time is set to US EST btw.
See how even on the 10tick chart price respects the Kumo. Its amazing it happens again and again and I try to predict it even now and get burned again and again lol. Not so often now but occasionally I still do stupid things. Guess whos in the money tonight?
Current short still running.
Oh just closed because hovering at pivot to long and at bottom of Flat cloud.

Not bad in at 64 out at 46 as it retraced at 8.30 and sold again at 47 and out at 40 once it stalled.
4 out of 5 tonight with 42 pips in the bag.
Now its stuck in the cloud on the 5minute its Good Night/Good Morning/Good Afternoon to you all.

correct me if I am wrong..

if the daily trend show long...wait for long signal at 1H time frame
if the daily trend show short..wait for short signal at 1H time frame
if the daily trend inside kumo...just wait..

for your information I always check 5M time frame...so instead of Daily trend should I follow 1H trend...wait for your comment? tq

hey guys is anyone using heiken ashi candles along with ichi ? they seem a bit delayed , but I find them a lot easier to read . Im looking for heiken ashi candle patterns , if someone has any information , i would appreciate if u share it .

EgyTrader can help you about heiken ashi.

but it is better to use them only for exit.

I use this with Ichimoku

it is good but remember you can use Ichimoku MTF instead of it and also the relation between CS and Cloud it just visually help

i use oanda , so i cant install mt4 indicators , basically i was looking for heiken ashi price action patterns

on the 5 mins you can use the 1Hr as your guide of trend, also u shall be aware that 5 mins is made for scalping , means u are in to hunt some pips and get out, don't think of turning a 5 mins position to a long term one, this is not a wise thing to do .
for the 1hr you are correct the daily is your trend to follow
