Seem that it's now retesting the last bottom 0.8960... The triangle is squezzing as well. Just wait and see what happen..

3Q GDP really kills the strength of AUD, no matter what your think, just go short to all rallies for now while we wait for US CPI report midnight tonight ( 0.2% or more is a buy signal for 40 pips) and if Fed will be hawkish tomorrow during FOMC report expect to dip some more

it is very bearish to me. I will enter short but i will wait until the line of resistance will be broken, and maybe i will pull down 1 hour chart to look for a right entry. happy trading bro. be safe.

Not hardly. If Fed gets hawkish, which is unlikely imo, then dollar will soar. If not, it will probably cause a mild bounce against the dollar, i.e a 38/50 of the daily move.

The Obama Administration and the fed has been bending over backward to keep the USD low.

As usual, they will downplay anything that will support the USD...looking at a 50 Pip gain when it happens.

Lets be sure about one thing, The U.S. Administration wants a weak Dollar until Obama gets his bills passed! The U.S. administration wants weaK dollar until there is irrefutable proof that we are in a strong recovery, that will not happen until the 3'rd quarter at the earliest.

2'nd stimulus package and all the other hyper spending that the U.S. is making is a recipe for disaster and believe me; the Obama Administration is more interested in their legacy than the strenghth of the USD.

Be careful shorts until the economic announcements come out at 8:30 A.M.and more importantly the tone of the FED announcement in the afternoon.

We just had 3 white soldiers on the 5M chart !!

The bullish counterpart of three black crows is known as "three white soldiers" and is considered by some candle theorists as one of the most bullish candle patterns. The three white soldiers pattern is most potent when it occurs after an extended decline and a period of subsequent consolidation. When a particular stock posts a decline followed by a sideways movement, the appearance at that point of three white soldiers signals that higher prices are likely ahead.

Then hold tight at least for 3 hours until the USD E.D.R. are made public. As for me I am waiting until late this afternoon and see what the FOMC state ment will say.

In a long term, may be you're right but I dont think anyone on this forum is a long term trader who is looking at 3-6 month window to TP.

US$ can NOT decline in a straight line. It will be down, up, down, up and eventually down. This is a retracement and in medium term we're likely to see .87-88 levels in AUD.

Should be an interesting night/early morning here in Sydney today.

What happened to the correlation of Aussie to the GOLD?
While Gold made it up from the recent lows quite nice Aussie goes South!?

No correlation anymore to be seen here? Or anyone has an idea?

The gold was soaring as a hedge against the inflation and weak US$. The gold has always has been inversely co-related to US$.

Of course, you may choose to ignore my opinion.

It is almost 6:00 a/m here so I take it it nearing 5:00 PM your time.

If that is correct then , at 7:30 PM your time will be the next thing to watch.

I am in Indianapolis and we are on Eastern Time. You guys should bee 11 hours ahead of us.

Got to the Calander on this site and adjust it to your time zone and it should take care of it.

I hope that you are wrong but I appreciate your outlook. Until the 8:30 a.m statements come out and the FOMC statement, mid afternoon comes out, (Indianapolis time) who knows what it is going to happen.
