Good advice. You do need to learn how a currency moves and this takes a long time to learn (depending on skill, experience etc).

Now I wrote a bunch of stuff after this but I decided to delete it.

Dec. 15 (Bloomberg) -- The U.S. banking industry moved out of intensive care when Citigroup Inc. and Wells Fargo & Co. said yesterday they will repay their bailout funds. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner still can’t claim the patient is healthy.

The Treasury is in line to get back $20 billion from New York-based Citigroup, which needed two capital injections from the government to stave off collapse. Wells Fargo plans to return all $25 billion that taxpayers invested in the San Francisco-based lender a year ago, making it the last of the nation’s largest banks to pledge an exit from the Troubled Asset Relief Program.

Geithner and President Barack Obama have said the $700 billion financial bailout averted an economic meltdown and will end up costing taxpayers no more than $140 billion. That is unlikely to deflect public anxiety about an unemployment rate near a 26-year high or declining bank lending. Eight of 10 Americans see joblessness as the greatest threat, according to a Bloomberg National Poll this month.

I now mainly "STARE" at AU GU and EU. That's it. Still meddling with the easier pairs first to do more forward testing on my laggy system

EUR/USD opens touch easier after slow Asian session

EUR/USD is sitting down at 1.4635 compared to a North American close Monday up around 1.4655, with the Asian session seeing price action confined to an uninspired narrow range. Market sentiment could probably best be described as “cautiously bearish” toward the pairing, but there is some evident caution of taking on the 1.4600 line where Asian sovereign buy interest was recently noted.

07:00 GMT: EU 25 new car registrations

07;45 GMT: French November CPI expected +0.3% m/m, +0.5% y/y, harmonised +0.2% m/m, +0.5% y/y

09:00 GMT: Italian labour costs Q3

10:00 GMT: German December ZEW survey, econ sentiment expected 50.0, current situation -60.1

10:00 GMT: Euro zone labour costs Q3 expected +3.5% y/y

European stocks look likely to open marginally firmer.

Dec. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Four days before Dubai World sought to delay $26 billion of debt repayments last month, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum set out to race his horse, Al Ayed, across 120 kilometers (75 miles) of Persian Gulf desert. He had to withdraw when the mount became fatigued.

Now Sheikh Mohammed must prove that the transformation of Dubai from fishing village to global business hub isn’t also running out of steam. He has to find a way for oil-poor Dubai to cover at least $80 billion in debts and liabilities, a sign of the gap between his ambitions and the resources to fund them.

Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan of Abu Dhabi, who threw the state holding company a $10-billion lifeline yesterday, has no such concerns. He controls 8 percent of the world’s oil and one of its biggest sovereign wealth funds. He’s also Sheikh Mohammed’s kinsman and, as president of the United Arab Emirates, his boss. Abu Dhabi’s support may come with a price that undermines Sheikh Mohammed’s go-it-alone vision for Dubai.

“This isn’t no-strings-attached money,” said Jim Krane, author of “City of Gold: Dubai and the Dream of Capitalism.” “This is the big chance for the Al Nahyan family to dragoon its maverick cousins back into the union. Most of all, Abu Dhabi wanted to avoid the embarrassment of Dubai looking outside for its bailout.”

Yep but 2 days don't make a weekly candle so we have to wait for confirmation ... Anyway now it's not silly to think about 1.4130 as a possible target ... I'm confuse because of oil ... we was focus on gold and oil was very discreet in this period ...
Anyway I've take profits at 63 not because this is the year of my birthday but because we have so many news to come for the day.

1) 9:30 GMT UK CPI for the expected 1.8% annual is published.

if CPI >= 2.0% then GBPUSD go Up 35 pips
if CPI <= 1.6% then GBPUSD go Down 35 pips


2) 10:00 GMT Germany vs 51 index Zhu is announced.

if ZEW >= 57 then EURJPY go Up 30 pips
if ZEW <= 45 then EURJPY go Down 30 pips


3) 00:30 GMT tomorrow morning GDP 0.4% Australia will be published.

if GDP >= 0.8% then AUDUSD go Up 40 pips
if GDP <= 0.0% then AUDUSD go Down 40 pips
