Looks like you placed a buy order a few pips below the fractal shown, i would have thougt the order would have been above the line (middle yellow line). I am still holding my short, seeing how it will react to my entry level line, and if it stalls at that LL, i will look to exit.

edit: out -9 = 0/3 for me today

Hi Stoffer, just catching up on some posts and saw your chart.

Do I understand from it that you went short on the break of the FCR you have marked "FCR short"? The actual break happening where I've put the red circle.

If this is right, would not a better entry have been at the FCR I've marked with a blue line. In either case you perhaps could have exited at the break of the small FCR marked with a green line. This could have saved you some pips and maybe given the opportunity to grab a few on a long.

Just a thought, I wasn't trading today so it is easy to apply hindsight, equally I may have misinterpreted your chart.

thanks for your reply and yes that would have been a better entry but for me that fcr was formed as part of a retracement, if price had broken the high after that fcr i would have entered on your line

didnt work today but has in the past

further to above, the fcr from your green line i find difficult because the candles after have no lower lows

this is very much a work in progress for me and thanks to everyone for tolerating/ helping

i have noticed more and more that after entry 1min waves will get you out of a bad entry but i am trying to stick to 1 time frame

hi Stoffer,
at the beginning of this thread, long time ago, we used the M1 Chart to trail our stoploss. I still do this but i dont know if it i still legal with th System II, so i do not show Charts

Feb, do u think its still ok with the Syste II to use M1 Charts for Stoploss Trailing?

Guys ... fyi this week we have FOMC (2 day meeting starting tomorrow) coupled with the holidays ... not sure how many big risk takers out there willing to put on huge risk at this moment. But just food for thought.
