Well done. I am short AU, Eu, GBP / USD, also short on dowjones. Had good profit since morning, all hard work gone...... Worst thing is that I dont know what happened. Do I exit? Leave it? ...... Good thing that its the profit gone otherwise it would really hurt...

eur/usd daily stoch in a very very oversold position, it doesnot like another big declind on the way, i think the first 5 wave declind for eur/usd should be end really soon, the big correction wave 2 target 1.4900 zone is coming.
according to the eur/usd big wave 2 bounce, as i mention the aud triangle should be consider, aud one more push up to the 0.9240 zone.(my thought for this 5 wave declind in this aud/usd have to reconsider)

DUBAI (Zawya Dow Jones)--Dubai's government Monday said it has received $10 billion in financing from Abu Dhabi, which will pay part of the debt held by conglomerate Dubai World and its property unit Nakheel.
"As a first action for the new fund, the Government of Dubai has authorized $4.1 billion to be used to pay the sukuk obligations that are due today," the Dubai government said in an emailed statement.

This caused the spike. (In risk)

Why are you shorting several correlated objects?
Aren't you better of just keeping one big short in one of them... depends on your methods off course...

ok guys ,, here is my Charts for today
u might notice i changed the Elliott wave count that i anticipated before cause i have noticed some mistmatching between the possible direction of some pairs , i thought the we r in wave 3 down in the AUD which will take the price beyond 8950 but when i check the EURO and Gold chart ( i like to look at all charts at the same time to anticipate the best analysis and forecasting and it helps me sometimes to understand things i cant see in the AUD ) i see the Euro and gold went in 5 wave down with no possible...

i still dont recommend going long on that pair or selling the dollar in general althought i see in my analysis an up correction , i would recommend waiting and shorting it on rallies
and i dont wanna say that cause we r in the AUD forum but it makes more sense to short the Euro when it comes to the right spot cause of 2 reasons
it has been the weakest pair against the dollar and lost 550 pips on the down move ,, secondly it made the best recovery so far 50 pips

I normally use 2 accounts, one to hedge. This time I didnt do it because of the market sentiment in Europe. I didnt expect the Dubai situation to hit me like lightening. Well another lesson learnt. I closed my GBP with profit. Waiting for AU and Euro to give my money back.
The DowJones I will leave it for the night. Its the highest for the year at the moment, so not advisable to close now.

You ask whether to leave or exit. It naturally depends on your trading strategy. If you are a swing or a position trader, you will focus on opening a trade and keeping it open the entire day, unless you see a signal from your trading strategy telling you to exit the trade until the next open signal appears. Conversely, scalper and day traders look for quick profits, and if the market swings 20-50 or more pips in the opposite direction, this might signal a stop loss or a close out of the trade.
I am short on 6 pairs at the moment and long on two. This is based on my swing/position strategy of course. Do you use bollinger bands, moving averages, parabolic SAR, kieken ashi, volume, MACD, or any other specific indicators? Also, the news is notorious for reversing the price of a currency pair. When I started trading I immediately had my eye on trades worth no less than a dollar per pip. It was unsettling to learn how as a new trader, the news had the ability to return losses of two to three hundred dollars in an hour or two. The same could be said of profits for my account.
Keep in mind I have always been a swing/position trader, and at the time I was still learning about the organic, natural, as well as volatile behavior of the market. I did not start closing losses out sooner or staying out of trades longer until I understood better and had a more refined and intimate working knowledge of the currency market. By that time I had lost a considerable amount of money, but those days of losing large amounts of money are no more for me.
Remember that the news of one session such as Tokyo or Sydney may return large losses, but the London and session may gain back those losses fairly quickly. The same can be said for other market sessions such as the U.S. If you are hesitant about trading during the new you may want to stay out until you gain more experience, but many people choose to trade the news anyway. The Dubai news a few hours ago brought immediate gains for many non US currencies, as you already know. However, if you look closely at your charts you will see many of those losses were quickly gained back by the dollar at the end of the Tokyo session.
