agree , this thread is huge success , especially with traders like Vic , Samer , LB , 4xaddict , Chngster (sorry if i forgot someone ) im proud to be a part of this small , yet effective community .

By the way there was a posting regarding skype chat room , where we could have conference call , etc etc . Maybe we should give it a try ? I mean forum is fine , but after all voice communication , and explanation would be very convenient as well . If u guys agree , then we need to setup a conference room in skype (im not sure how this is gonna be done , but i dont think its gonna be complicated )

Method to determine TP with using lower and Higher TF

Example 1: Eur-Usd

look for this break out it was against the trend but why it reflected at this level Orange and white line

see the daily chart

we will see the orange line will represent the daily KS
and the white line is a part of Daily Kumo

let us now see what is the smaller time frames will tell us
see 15M TF the KS and TS crossed at the orange line (Daily KS)

what make it stop at this level ?

the best chart to explain that is the weekly trend
while the price is trapped in the weekly Kumo
and he do that many time reflected from the span A in the Kumo
Daily and lower time frame not help at this case

If you maKe a zoom the Daily close above kumo , Future kumo Bullish,If my memory not fool me i think i saw this view of up trend before.
There are many choices,You can enter here or wait till TS cross KS depends on how you read your own chart Or till Cs go above the cloud
I choose to enter here and will hold if things go fine and daily close above 1.0930 will add to target UP 1.20 that is my view(Long term)

I am probably like many of you. I need sleep!

It may be my karma but many of the best moves seem to occur while I need a nap.

I am not trying to exploit this thread, on the contrary, I love it.

I would just like to create a group of like minded individuals who also need a watchdog to help them out.

And for you moderators I am not trying to set up a PAID group, I am only wanting to find people, like myself, who need some support.

Maybe there are others like myself who also need some support. If not, then I will drop this idea.

Hello guys!!!

congratulations on this Ichimoku thread, the best there is!

I started 2 months ago looking at the forex, so I'm relative new to this stuff, but I managed to read the complete Ichimoku thread, because after a whole load of indicators, Ichimoku looked for the first time an indicator I could trade/work with.

I'm testing the Ichimoku in a demo version (2 weeks allready, but planning to continue untill I get consistent results)

What I allready learned is that Ichimoku can predict very nice trends!!!
but u must be able to survive the more choppy bits

As Vic-elc allready told, MM and RM are crucial, especially in Ichimoku where up tot 65% of the trades can go wrong, and u still make very nice profits! (I was impressed Vic-elc, by your strategy test from the GBP/YEN)

I started using the strategy-tester also now, to test the several Ichimoku indicators. But since some of u are also testing, I can maybe offer a little help... (after an accident I must rest some months untill I recover, So I have plenty of time to test...)

I think today's opening above the daily cloud supports the long view
the 1Hr Also is ready to go, an entry will be good with any pullback towards the 1Hr Flat line
