iCustom(...) return values don't match contents of the Data window in MT4...

I am trying to code up an Expert Advisor that feeds off a custom indicator. The values I receive from the iCustom call, I am putting to the log, but they don't match the values that show up in the data window.

I believe I have provided the name correctly, am choosing the proper indexes (actually, I'm pulling all 8), and have ensured that the parameter values being sent to the custom indicator that's attached to the chart, match in order and value, those being sent to the iCustom call, but still, the iCustom buffer values do not match those in the data window.

A user named "andersenws" had a similar problem, as did one other fellow whose name I cannot recall, and at least andersenws's resolution was, "Never mind, I figured it out." The other fellow never posted evidence of a resolution...

Not only are the values coming back not a match, they do not change often at all... Help?

Sorry, guys... I had already reviewed the code against a number of comment threads that were related to iCustom not working, and had fixed the usuals - no optional parameters provided, incorrect index or buffer being read, indicator name wrong...

I was hoping for something more like, "Oh - the Data Window isn't displaying the buffer contents, there's another API for that stuff..." or "The Data Window contents can be overridden by 'x' API, and that's probably why you're not seeing the same results" or something similar.

The key is that I didn't write, and don't have code for, the indicator, so I was trying to divine it's entrails from observing it's droppings. I was really looking for indication of what we used to call a "Gross Conceptual Error" in my MT4/MQL4 understanding before bothering the fellow who programmed the indicator...

Anyhow, thanks for looking. I appreciate it.
