Just a thought on hedging. 30 min after hedge is open and if it is still in profits it cuts the original trade- otherwise it cuts the hedge. If both are in (-) then check again in 30m - if still both are (-) at 90m kill the trade.
I have an Original buy basket open on demo, heavily into DD and with 4 GJ hedge trades open. We know the routine is working as coded, so it will be interesting to watch what happens. I shall let the robot run its undisturbed course.
On a different matter, the Yen's strength gave those of us trading the KG Range robot a bountiful 24 hours - the live account is up 6.7% over the period. Anybody here not familiar with the bot should go to http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=152341 and read about it. 'Tis a long read, but well worth it.

Watching the markets move decisively in favour of the original trades and the combined buys with their associated hedges close out at a small profit gave me an idea.
It might be a plan to close the hedge trades once the rs reading is on the opposite side of 50 and reset the take profit. I shall think about that.

Did you change the calculation for lot size to not allow for 4 decimals on 24hr version 3.3?

I have added a new input to both robots - PercentageToHedge.
This is the percentage of an open trade to hedge and defaults to 5. I have added this so you guys can play with your own settings.
Also added code to tell the robot to stop if the trade context is busy.
Upload from post 1. There will be no more updates before Tokyo opens.

The price moving in a channel between the red and blue lines. Sell at a touch of the red and buy at a touch of the blue. Or hang on in the trade whilst the two lines are the right side of the yellow line.
- Sell at the touch of red if below yellow line.
- Buy at the touch of blue if above the yellow line.
Channel is 4H 2 SMA High and 4H 2 SMA Low.

- How do manual traders deal with the overlap.
