I changed the default htf settings to 70/30. That probably made the difference as the trades were sent as soon as I made the change. I just want to see how the hedging stuff works when a trade goes bad.

OK do you suggest doing the change here also? Haven't had a trade in awhile. I even went to ibfx and no trades last night?

Actually in the 24hr one they are set at 70/30 by default unless I am looking at something else? So a trade should of occurred?

The 24H should not have taken the basket tonight. Mine shows GJ in an uptrend, and so it should only be looking to buy.

As to what the htf Original setting should be, I can't remember. It has played yo-yo somewhat. 80/20 is the safest, but I wanted to provoke a trade tonight.

Looks like that RefreshRates() in the GetStrongestPriceInBasket() is doing the trick for the 4019 or 4051 error in the jpn morning sell trades.
My print lines have been showing the 'strongest' being updated. No longer stuck on 0.

Have forced my v1.6 copy to take little fixed 0.01 lot sells by changing the LowerTfOverSold & HigherTfOverSold to 80/65. (lifted the floor).
2 pips profit in 2 min.

No sign of the dreaded error alarms. Touch wood (forehead).

Amen to that. The cats are grateful, cos I warned them they are next in the firing line if these blasted errors continue and I will need to release my frustration.

Hate to ruin your evening Steve, but I did get an error. I forced a buy trade on both the 24hr and the proper and got the 130 error on the proper? Guess stop loss was to close to market price?

But I guess these errors really aren't effecting trading? I also got the 4051 market symbol error earlier but didn't post it since he have beaten that error to death!

Both baskets one on the 24hr and one on the proper just closed under 2 minutes with a 100.00 profit. Would be nice to do this on a real account

Just a thought on hedging. 30 min after hedge is open and if it is still in profits it cuts the original trade- otherwise it cuts the hedge. If both are in (-) then check again in 30m - if still both are (-) at 90m kill the trade.
