Ok Trade hit SL at +200 pips

First planned ichi trade where I stuck to my rules and won

Very pleased

Now If I can take 200 pips a week Ill be very happy


Current trades running

audnzd - 20 pips

I will keep this trade until it hits my stop, a 4h cross has occurred so all is looking good so far

Great news Ichi, and congrats.
you had all the reason to bank your profits as this was the zone of the 4H senkou B. I personally closed one lot at +228 and kept the second going because I think price will drop further despite a bullish future kumo on 4H, but the Senkou lines are converging and the kumo is thin and the TS crossed below KS and chikou span crossed below price curve. anyway we'll see.

Your trade was a beauty . i was away i didnt take it myself , i took EU .
it is good u master 1 way of trading ichi first and after u start by the second one and so on , and soon ur eye will catch all opportunities

Hi Guys,

Still following this great thread.

So, the preferred methods are:

1. Tenkan/Kijun cross, on the right side of the cloud, with confirmation from higher timeframe. Can someone please explain which timeframe to look for the cross and exactly what the confirmation is? Is it just price being on the right side of the cloud? Or more?

2. Bounce off Kijun on 4 hour - presume that's after a cross?

3. 1hr cloud breakout in direction of daily - think I've got that one!!

Having studied Ichi charts for a little while now, I am seeing that a simple Chikou Span crossover of price seems to yield good results. Any ideas for developing this further?

Anyone familiar with this long standing maxim? If any market is (or has a possibility) of a reversal (or correction) 67% of the time it happens on a Tuesday, hence the name "Turnaround Tuesday."

We have had some huge moves in many currency pairs since last Friday's NFP which, IMO, are longer term reversals, yet IMO, they need to retrace some before the larger move can unfold.

If, and I repeat If, this may happen, it has a high probability of happening today. So, we may see a retracement of the E/U for example (It is at 1.4690 as I post). As always TWT (Time Will Tell).

But, with 24 years of trading under my belt (everything from stocks, stock options, all manner of commodities and futures) I have learned to trust my gut.

My gut is screaming REVERSAL and it is also TUESDAY!

IMO, I'll go with my gut.

enjoy ichi it is a great way to trade forex ( i have no experience with stock and future) even if you can introduce stocks to us and trade it with ichi this would be great

EU kumo bearish breakout on daily, probably will retrace to flat senkou B and resume down move. kumo lines converging and probably will turn bearish in a day or two, chikou already crossed and TS/KS crossed but not separated yet. my entry was on 1H TS/KS strong bearish cross (+106 now).
