the wave 2 looks like develop into a 3-3-5 flat, with wave c target 0.9187-0.9195 zone,(wave1 50% ret,wave a 100% projection) mightbe a good place to short again

hello folks!it seems we are having a double botom formation coming up on 1H.damn!i am traped in short.is there still a chance of aussie dropping t0 8080 area cos on my daily,its bearish but this formation coming up gives me a doubt.ur views pls

Before adding to ANYTHING/USD shorts, might be a good idea to have a look at this possible over-and-under pattern on EU H4. I'll definitely buy some at 1.47. Careful. If it works out as it should, could go up more than 100 pips.

Shucks - just got home - been out most of the day. I've chucked a few small soldiers out there as it's S3 on daily and S1 on weekly. I've got the feeling I'm catching a falling knife at the moment though but not to worry. At least the rollover is positive. Will add further on down .... once I've done some more analysis. Wasn't quite sure how A/J was going to play out.

those soldiers would need brave hearts...... on the audusd, 60 out of 65 say downtrend.....

when the count is so heavily slanted, it's usually a good time to take notice.....h

all my soldiers are brave because they've got many troops behind them ready to be deployed at a moment's notice Bit like the endless US troops being sent to Afghanistan. The only difference is - one of my soldiers doesn't cost me a million US$ per year.

Too early to buy A/J. Average weekly range for the year has been 389 pips and average monthly range 752. Could be a loooonnnnggg way down. We've only done 309 pips this week. Could be looking at the 76.00 area again sometime this month after a quick look at my figures.

The long term bullish trend line has been broken and is now acting as resistance.

Hm, I guess I want to be wrong every now and then. Just once a week or better once a month. Keeps the thought of being invincible well away. How would I prepare to handle losses properly if I was always right.
I use small positions so I can watch dozens of red pips without panic.
We'll see how it works out.

I got a bit to anxious and broke some rules this morning and closed out my a/j short at the open of the London session, but I just wanted that 8% profit soooo bad! and it dropped another 100 pips while I was sleeping,,, bummer , oh well coulda, woulda, shoulda had more. Im watching at the moment for a long oppourtunity, but not seeing anything quite yet,, would need to see some real upward movement in the 80 area and closes on the 3/4hr above 80.70ish before even interested enough to place some soldiers out there otherwise its gonna get more shorts, time will tell.

Well.Gold has broken 35 so i am waiting for the bearish reaction from aud/usd.
At the moment I am looking forward to see the correctoin to the green line(9052) or to the blue one (9094), if green is broken.From this levels I would short. Target 8950. The break of 9095 will possibly cause the movement to the "orange zone",where anything can happen,but if gold chart won't give any surprises --than everything will go by the plan.

I just cut profits fast and let losers run. Should do the opposite, I know.

I have been lurking for a while on this thread seeing the views of the people who are active in this market. This market is fairly new to me and i use a number of systems to determine the trend and the entries.

This bad boy has put a top in for a good few weeks and i entered short according to my H4 charts. I then add on bounces that are confirmed by the H1 charts using stuff like bollinger bands and RSI.

The main determinant for the trend is by using the market matrix which identifies repeating cycles in the markets. These seem to work very well in getting in on a decent CIT.

My next low point is not due until Monday/Tuesday next week.

I have just closed my shorts on confirmation of the H1 an H4 charts and think we will bounce for 24 hours. If we rally up and get to the top of my bollinger bands and RSI sometime tomorrow then i will hit the shorts and add as we drop.

I love the analogy from hayseed regarding having plenty of back up in case you are wrong. Or at least slightly out on time, as for me time is more important than price.

Like the EURUSD, the AUDUSD has broken below trendline and 5th wave channel support. Focus in now on .8900 (which also serves as the neckline to a potential head and shoulders top). The rally that failed just shy of .9200 may have completed a small second wave. A pop above there in order to complete a more complex correction is not out of the question however.

I just completely bottomed out, I went a little too long at the pivotal point, and couldn't even afford to keep up my margin, not that that would have helped given the trend, investment totally lost, and some debt because I was asleep and woke up way late .....
