fti, yes have been short the GBP and E/j today, but now have found the sidelines until Canada FA's are behind us, and will then see if something develops with the $/CAD.

Agree with luSan and auxesis that things in US are wierd now. Increasing odds of major social unrest in very near future. We'll see how things unfold, but do not see US military returning from overseas bases anytime soon. It takes 6 months to get 30K troops in Afganistan, not sure how 200K get back anytime soon without causing notice. Hope we do not need another "Give me liberty, or give me death" moment to get things back on track. Am sending up many prayers.

just that with imbeciles at the wheels, the curve can be hair raising. The propagadas floating around is getting everyone's hormones at peak. The feel is changing rapidly at grassroot levels. Cool is key now, and fingers are crosses for the best. Prayers is good,but his will, it will be done.

Short the e/j again, as the dow and other us equities are getting hit now. Not sure what the driver is but will take it. Really watching the CAD for an entry but the big FA looms in 25 min. fti, are you trading today?

No I am still on sidelines.
Gotta get some reliable brokers first, as I had dumped the whole sack of rotten potatoes in my sack. Soon, soon , I will be on wagon . Cannot sit away from the hottest thingy since Apple pie, can I? Can operate with citi, but their credit risk ratings , similarly to moody's re ratings had dropped into the red zone.

I guess greece cut its rating from A- to BBB+ and people are selling Euros.

China executes rogue trader, millions still missing

BEIJING (Reuters) – China on Tuesday executed a former securities trader for embezzlement, the first person in the industry to be put to death, but millions of yuan are still missing, a state newspaper said.

Yang Yanming was sentenced to death in late 2005 and took the secret of the whereabouts of 65 million yuan ($9.52 million) of the misappropriated funds to his grave, the Beijing Evening News said.

The report added that Yang was the first person working in China's securities sector to be executed.

"Preserve your moral integrity and don't set too much store by business results," Yang told the newspaper before the sentence was carried out.

He was the general manager of the Beijing securities trading department of the China Great Wall Trust and Investment Corp., which became Galaxy Securities, from 1997 to 2003.

Conscious that the growing gap between rich and poor could generate resentment, China is battling corruption and stock trading abuses. It has used the death penalty as a deterrent in serious cases.

This is one reason Im following China, Russia and Indias lead of buying silver and gold with those dollars.
Tell me did you look at barter4silver.com ?
Do you see any problems trying to establish a national directory for those business's to advertise that they except silver and gold for payment ?
I hadnt got any feedback as of yet from anyone here.

I don't know of any (owner) business that will not accept silver/gold for payment, albeit you may have to meet the owner to transact business, but if they have a brain in their head, it shouldn't be an issue..... the problem that I see on the horizon, is tax reporting problems........ it's already in the code to report profit from barter transactions, I can see a multitude of issues arising when they do not have a paper trial to follow. When did you buy your metal, average purchase price, current price, ect ect.........
