My apologies if I am being naive, but if your broker is GMT +3, then aren't you really trading 11 to 20:15 GMT time, which is part London and part US?

I still get confused with the times.

No, EA starts to trade exactly at London opening and stops 15min past London closure. If you're not sure about your broker server time zone just see when EA starts trading and then adjust Local_HrsServerTZ (it usually opens at least some trades very near London opening).

And please use this set file only on DEMO account. It's still far from being ready to go live. Today was very bad day for this settings. EA opened lots of trades in ranging market and almost all ended in SL (maybe minATR should be used).

I haven't found yeat even one set file that would be more less ready for live account. In the best scenario it makes some profit and than few negative trades wipe off everything in the worst account gets destroyed in one day

Same here, EA does well when the curreny pair is strongly trending and gets killed when PA moves in narrow range. I hope we can find profitable setting in any market condition but it's going to be very hard.

Thank you for your replies. My server is EST (GMT-5), so I trade from 3 to 12:15.

Yes I am still on a demo account. I know it's still experimental, and I hope we can find something that works in all market conditions.

for that I would say we could use higher timeframe on trix ? hmm any ideas how to distinguish narrow range movements ? or use smaller timefraim from what you trade and use for exits profit only ? i'm still testing settings files from this thread, I guess I will go over all of them by the end of the next week and start making up my own set files.

Maybe we could use EntyminATR=0.001 to filter out this periods. I've tried it in backtests and it gives very good results in november. But for some reason fails in october. When you enter this rule, ATR based SL becomes very high and when SL is hit it wipes your gains and more.

yeap, I want to try other idea, lets say your set up is for 15 min, your THVTrix is set for 15 min manually in settins , one or two timefraims from THVMFtrix are set to M5 charts and your graph is in M5 charts + closeifprofit set to true and exit condition is by M5 charts, by doing this you will eliminate slow action in ranging markets, at least you will exit with small profit. I guess I didn't explain it well, Its pretty hart to explain complected ideas lol I will start playing with setting next week, but so far I can see that multi stage exits weren't that good, because when the SL hit it closes the whole order and in multi stage exits everything is being closed in small ammounts, so in the long rung you lose more pips in SL

Are there times when the EA misses the hidden stoploss? Please see attached image.

A buy order was opened on the EUR/GBP at .90550. The hidden stoploss was .90277, but at the time the picture was captured, the price was down to 0.90128 and the order is open.

Does anyone know why it might have missed the stoploss?

I am running a demo account on MBTrading with a VPS. The set file is the 15mincyberevilMODIFIED2.set.txt Tom81 posted earlier, with trading times adjusted.

check whether closeifprofit set to true, and is it possible that you got disconected?

not really I didn't save results since there were more than 45 files to test so I was creating a new acc for each test, and I don't see any point posting result settings that blow an acc in 24 hrs )

Honestly people, I'm getting tired from reading questions that have been answered in this thread, if you can't read you won't be able to use this ea with tremendous amount of settings.This thread is not 2000pgs long, it is just 140 and a lot of it graphs. Now I can see why senior members from this thread abandoned it.

Yes seems the thread is grinding to a halt, hope it come back to life, I am playing around with settings but still getting only moderate results. I am not asking anybody to share there secret settings but are there any traders that are getting good results?

I've get good results on a scalp setup but ONLY when I determinate the trend manually based on candlesticks and S&R on 4H charts and let the EA trade only in that direction until I feel that it buttomed or topped.

Any other setup can give me good results for some weeks and later it eats up what it have done before or more.

I'm not very surprised that it is like it is, I haven't seen any EA yet that is doing fine over a long period.

It is not a problem to share settings and ideas, but people who don't even bother reading through the thread are just killing me. I'm getting moderate results too , it makes some profits on 15 & 30 min charts but it is pretty hard to tell how good they are , because some of the set files perform well for 2 days then destroy the account. Hopefully by the end of the next week it will be more less clear on last few set files that I'm testing right now if they can produce some positive results. I really think about the idea of lets say, using TrixTimefraim in EA on the larger time frame lets say M30, when the take profit function or exit how ever you wanna call it based on MTF indicator on lower time frame lets say M15... even though it will create more falls stops, the amount of lost pips will be less. Didn't get to test it yet though

I like this idea as well and have started to elaborate with it on the modified cyberevil 15min setfile. The whole thing here is to get a good entry. If the entry is wrong the whole trade will probably be wrong The hard thing here is that the robot trading only have "hard" values, you can not see if the ADX or ATR is on the way up or if its going down. Next thing is, what ATR/ADX period shall you run. Shall it be 14 or 20 for a for our m15 chart? And if you use this, ATR based S/L is probably not the best. The values of ADX and ATR has to be tuned for every currencypair as well.
