It is strange. The tp error did not show up on my live eglobal account.

I haven't taken any chances, mind, and the latest from a few posts ago is on the chart.

Just so everybody knows, I have replaced the versions in post 1 as well.

Just got back from an early morning bike ride, to find that the Original had taken a Sell and hit the SL. Thing is is that it is above the MTF 200SMA (5min) . I understood that it would only look for trades to sell if it where below.

Also, looking at 2.8 d/l from the post above.. It is showing the trend is down, where as I see it clearly up. Or am I mis interpreting what I see?

The Original doesn't use the sma filter.

Here we go again not sure what is going on. I didn't touch anything, and just checked to see how it is going and again with the errors?

Exited the ea and loaded it again with no error message and now it says outside trading hours.

This bloody error has been discussed about 50,000 time here already.

I have already said several thousand time that I don't know what causes it.

Ok, so 'several thousand' is probably a bit of an over-exaggeration, but you will understand my frustration if you are ever daft enough to put yourself in the position of starting a thread.

  1. I don't know what causes this blasted error. (An addition to the previous umpteen replies about this; nor do any of the brilliant proofreaders here.)
  2. It doesn't impinge on the working of the robots here.

Sorry to sound a bit frustrated, but Sunday is a heavy day for me. I am a piano teacher; people like to have piano lessons during their leisure hours; Sunday is a day of leisure; it is a long day for me; I get tired.

Reason I added it was outside trading hours was I thought there might be a relationship causing the error when it was in trading hour vs outside hour. Sorry to upset you Steve your the programer and have great programmers on here and don't need to have input from non programmers such as me. You are doing a great job, I have tried programming and admire you and the others on being able to do so.

Steve, may be just put a sticky note about this error on post 1. I am sure new visitors to the thread will ask it again..and we need u in good mood sir!

Trouble is, post 1 is already somewhat long. You know how ruthless I can be with dipsticks, but right now I am feeling a bit guilty and would probably even post a half-polite reply to an enquiry about trading times.

Ok, perhaps not, but you know what I mean.

I have completely re-written JPY Candles in version 3.1, It now is an Offline chart. You just place this indicator in your indicator folder and then you place the indicator on a GBPJPY chart, does not matter what time frame. then you select the name of your offline chart and the Period you want it to be and then find the offline chart with the name you chose from the list of offline charts in the File menu and double click on it. This will bring up the XXXJPY chart and you can use it like any other chart and apply any indicators from the MT4 list or choose candles or bars or line You can use Moving averages, any kind of HLOC info you want. It is simply another chart. And as long as you keep the chart open that is feeding it, it will update and auto scale in real time. It must build up its own history, so the longer you keep it open the more bars there will be on the chart.

I hope you enjoy it.

I want to give a special thanks to 7Bit for his excellent explanations of offline charts and some excellent offline functions at MQL Code Base.

PS, This chart makes its calculations from all 7 pairs, so if any are missing at your broker, it will automatically create the missing pairs synthetically. So it will run on any broker and be accurate.

Here is an example of M15 with a Stochastic from MT4 just to show possibilities.
