Hi, I didnt mean interbank but NYSE & NASDAQ, but I just checked, it's said " The NYSE Trading Floor will close early on Friday, November 27, 2009 (the day after Thanksgiving) The Trading Floor will close at 1:00 p.m. " , so you are right.

I saw DAX and FTSE 100 opened with a gap to the down, it means we really will see a Black Friday when the US session opens,

I am waiting for 9025 to begin selling. It seems like aussie wont recover soon. Targets 8910 and lower.
From fundamental side it may be caused by bad news from UAE. They have troubles with estate now,but a lot of banks put their money in this projects. We can see a correction to 8600. Than, if Fed wont change rates (15-16 december) there will be a possibility that ppl will risk again. What do you think about it,guys?

It can be a problem with some posters who just want to concentrate on the AUD which is a shame because this is a nice thread and I don't think it does any harm to talk about other aspects and currencies of the market. At least we've managed to sneak gold in regularly and nobody seems to mind so far. But I'm all for diversifying the thread and you won't hear any objections from me.

thats a possible count that i m considering now ,, might change it later cause i m not 100% sure of it
shahab i have euro analysis too and i trade it , i captured 100 pip down from 5020 to 4920 today ,, we can share our charts here for the euro too
i never even comment in the euro forum i dont like it there
anyways ,, i m not quite sure of this count but it makes sense to me not to long it but to short it after the ABC correction ,

today Wall Street is not trading, I think there will be limited drop though I am almost sure we'll see new daily lows

already closed my longs with 30 pips, don't dare to ask too much for this market...

well i have 2 views for what happened technical and fundmental
i was the only one here who forecast this move with charts posted yesterday before the move down
firstly dubai news was the catalyst for it but not the main reason ,, from my opinion as technically i see us tested the daily trend line 2 times in 2 days without a boost higher to the upper channel and that means when it tested it the first time it didnt catch enought momentum as it used to do since july and lunched higher to at least hit the upper channel ,, but it went back after 1 day to test it again and then went higher ,, that means its getting weaker ,,, and the NZD broke the daily trend line couple of days ago and thats a good referal that the AUD will break it too ,, and that make me do the elltiot waves analyisis based on a wave 3 down to break the daily trend line and i was sure that we wont make a new high and we will just complete a correction of a clear clean 3 wave from the daily trend line and it was forminga head and shoulder as well
sooo it was very easy to read from the charts and that what i was refering to for 2 days before it happened
the RSI showed a very clean div, too within the last 3 and 5 wave up ,, that was a strong referal too

secondly
we have seen some slight development in the fund. coming out of the states
we have seen strong solid home sales and strong recovery in the unemployment claims and that could refer to better numbers in other fundmentals coming out later

DUbai was a catalyst for this break ,, its like the market was losing the momentum and the stomach for rally up and it was waiting for something strong to tell them to sell there longs on to the same time

and the most of all
STRONG REVERSALS HAPPENS WHEN EVERYONE IS LOOKING HIGH ,, IT COMES DOWN ,, so when i have seen everyone here talking about new year highs and very optimisitc and they didnt even see the clean strong market fund. and charts signs ,, i knew something unexpected will happen

Black Friday is a term used to refer to the Friday after Thanksgiving, where Xmas sales usually start.

the dubai news was known on Wednesday as well.....

same old story, market creates bullish and bearish sentiment alternatively to earn more money on both sides

add some simple technical levels (high and lows as support and resistances), play safe with strict rules and you will make it, may be

Agree with you. I was confused by Fed's comments. They clearly told yhat we shouldnt wait for changing rates till 2010 at least.Thats why i was sure aussie will make a new high.But now I see that it is impossible. I am just looking for a good position to go short)

in this bussiness if u wanna take it seriously and make safe money out of it , u need to keep learning ,, while ur trading u should always keep the book open and keep listening to others and learn from there analysis
thats the key of learning
when u think that u know enought ,, and close ur book and start to play others analysis ,, u get screwed up
its very helpfull to think and understand ( very importante ) how others analysis the market
thats why i love this forum
i m learning from lot of ppl here and they r learning from me
was just trying to figure out the butterfly thing that i have seen fammira using and some others

i dont understand why ppl think that the currency wil only recover if rates goes up ,, thats not a practial rule at all
i would have thought the same but sometimes the rally stops and breaks the daily trend line and consolidate or breaks down just because it ran out of steam or profit collection or just some other fundmentals ,, there is alot of things that can change the trend direction ,, not only the rates
best prove is ,, when the RBA added 25% to the AUD rates ,, first time it spoked it up and supported the rally ,, second time it went down on the same day with more than 100 pip althought it was a rate up change ,,,, rates is nothing but a strong fundmental news but its not everything
