yeah, they are a pretty big part of my trading and i would like them to get bigger but when its like this they are pretty much useless!!! how are you getting on?? i have also noticed they can be diferent on different platform so that doesnt solve anything either!!? do you take them at the face value for each TF when you have adjusted them??

I was waiting for a pull back on Eur/Gbp, but those pins are "statements" of more happening. damn.

Keen for sleep, so not thinking of trading them. Too many mistakes made like that. lol

hi benji, just to clarify, oanda prints the average price between the ask and the bid, so if you get it to show the ask and bid price it will be above and below the bars highs and lows ..if you know wot i mean?? whereas mt4 platforms show the bid (as default) so it looks diferent but isnt really,its just not been printed the same graphically.

Actually I use only MT4 for charting, so I don't look at 3H. From Oanda's charts I van see it just took off, but I personally wouldn't take it anyway.

By the way, I just took a 0.6R lose earlier on EU (5min pin off 1.495 with div) - Next

That's what I've been doing. It's a pain adjusting them though. It sucks not being able to draw a TL on the daily then use it reliably down the Time frames.

I thought it was just me., They seem to be getting wilder and wilder as I drop down timeframes. It used to be a small difference but now my TLs look like they were drawn by a drunken monkey.

hello guys!

I have just finished to fund my live account,I have sent the money last week on Friday,wire bank transfer, and they arrived in my account this morning.

This is my first live trade that I tooked, want to thank you guys for your work that have been done here.

I don't feel any extra pressure when I trade the live account, it's the same with the demo account, I'm trying to do the same think that have been work on the demo account, and when you know that this stuff work and you did it by yourself you can bring out all the pressure. Maybe this felling are because I trade only 1$/pip, but when you will do it enough time on the live account you will be prepared for thouse time when a pip will worth 100$ or even 1000$.But all step by step with a lot of patience.

On this trade that I took I could easily catch the bottom of the PB,speciality of rac, but at that time I was off the markets.

I will use the 4H chart because it seems to be quite similar and that is what I can post.

Well, PA is powerful, but location is even more in most cases. In this case, you have a pin in the middle of a box range/side ways market.
Best place to trade PA is at swing points, supported by some kind of confluence. You don't have any major round number or PPZ to support you. Larger TF don't show any kind of clues either.
If I would like to trade based on this TF, I will most likely look for trades off the edges of this box.
Bottom line....it just doesn't come out at me...it is in the middle of no where.

Now that I see the major Resistance at the top of this box, created by all the recent bar highs and combined with a major big number, I will try to catch bars at that area on lower TFs at that swing point with the ton of space around.

If anything, I would prefer the other pin bar I have marked on the chart below.

hey benji you are right in your assumption,and yes we are on the middle of a range market, but when you have some extra tool in your hands, you can make it a killer.

I know that it's not a proper way to trade them, but I have pulled the trigger based on more then just that you see on the chart, learn it from rac.

I'm not even experiment with them, but I know that this work after playing with it on the demo account,for some time. I wouldn't recommended to the novice to trade them.

I got stoped out on my EU and swissy to.

Just curious how many pairs are you watching now. I think you were looking at many when you started with higher TF and practicing Mike's breakout method cause they don't show up every day.

What I said is based on how I trade.

BTW, I also take bars like this sometimes, but manage them very tightly, and personally think that there are much more good ones for me.

But keep doing what you are good in

The three trades I took yesterday. +64 on GBP/USD, +56 on Aud/USD and +86 on GBP/JPY. I closed at the first sign of reversal as i am leery of the market this week. Today I would like to sell again on these but I will wait for strong signals and I will likely close for smaller profits. I will not be trading again till Monday.

I don't look at much.

The first two months that I have been in this forum were during the time I was on summer vacation from school. I could trade all day and think only on forex.
Now I have no time relativity to what I had. I have so much things to do in my regular life now.

But in my opinion, if you can - watch all pairs.

Before asking the question i had just deleted all the pairs leaving the majors only.

I missed AU PB, EU PB (8h), UCHF PB (8h).

I have a day job and paid price for having more then 20 pairs.
