I'm curious as well -looks like it's a histogram- for either buyers coming in after sellers or sellers coming in after buyers?

I don't have my other volume Indicator atm with me to compare- will do tomorrow...

I've been a professional software engineer about 12 years now and I started programming something like 30 years ago in grade school on commodore and apple computers so I hope you will take this as a real complement when I tell you that you write damn good code.

I am a pianist by profession. I have learned to program on an ad-hoc basis; I want/wanted the machine to do something for me, so I learn/learned how to make it do so.

Hello Steve and everyone,

There is only one true Volume indicator on FF in my opinion and that is one in this thread http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=126216
This indicator measures true volume. I suggest anyone interested in take a look and you will see why I say that especially from where the creator of this one gets the volume information from. Now, do I think if it will be of help to this nice thread no I do not but I do know it is by far the best indicator of true volume.

I made a small mistake on the calc of synthetic CADJPY. If you down loaded JPYCandle 2.1 above, please go to that post and download it again.

Couldn't agree more

Metatrader is such a closed box - you can't really see outside the box

What about Currenex ?

Can you see the real Interbank volumes on that type of platform ?

What is your opinion of Currenex and what trading platform would you recommend if money was no object ?

That answers the question. Guess since we did have so many biggest losers. Will see how long the trades go on?
If the original one is the main ea, I hate to see you going through all this work for the 24hr ea?
I guess for serious trading on a live account, one should go for the original ea?

For fx volume I use eSignal. (its probably as close as I can get to "real" as a retail trader. I know FXCM and forex.com give esignal for free if you trade a certain amount/ month

Mine bought the basket, and then hedged a little bit ago. Does anyone know how to get the ex4 files to show in the custom indicator list? Somehow, they don't show anymore, only the mq4 files.

Was the buy only above 200SMA and sell only below 200SMA coded into the normal BOJ robot?

If it was, my little Basket Trade robot executed a buy at 0745GMT.

Just checking.....

EDIT: Actually I realized that the normal BOJ robot does not require 200 SMA readings because of INTERVENTION. Am I right Scoobs?
