i agree with ATI AMD setups are great for the graphics..i will look into it as well...
i mihgt just buy one more laptop with nvidia card and keep my desktop as AMD/ATI combo... in that case i think i will go with first configuration.......Ignored

1) budget pc with a mobo with 3 x slots for gfx cards...now days almost all gfx cards come with 2 outputs (dvi/vga, dvi/dvi) so that goes 3 x 2 = 6 monitors.
2) budget pc with ATI crossfire hybrid, allows onboard gfx card to run while extra gfx cards are running (e.g. 790gx chipset ...see maheswara post) so thats a mobo with 2 x gfx slots (pcie-x) and 1 onboard = 3 x 2 = 6
3) pc with single or dual gfx card that supports 4 - 8 outputs each. Matrox (octal series), ATI (hydravision or FIREmv), and NVIDIA (quadro) all have...Ignored

DislikedI have a solution for your space problem on your desk we had the same issue so we found a place that sells office furniture and bought a desk 1.8m long with a Hutch to clear space on the desk and mount the screens on the back board and not on the desk or wall.Ignored

Dislikedi have three monitors, one for charts, one for trading, and one for whatever else im doing/looking at. usually FF forums lol. it isnt neccesary, but it helps because you dont have to keep switching between programs to check prices or charts or emails or whatever else you do when you trade. keeps things simple, you know? and thats definitely the best help when trading: simplicity.Ignored
