No idea. Don't care. Don't use the platform to override the robot. It will cause chaos.

LOL I opened a demo a/c just to see how 'forced sell' and buy works. I'm not hardy like ervichov to try it on live a/c. I have 'magic touch'. I buy=Top and I sell=bottom.

Why did my TP change to 1% of my original?

something very interesting just happened not sure if its a glitch or meant to be this way.

My sell basket got hedged, now when my hedge position on eurjpy usd/jpy was +$14 i closed them (just the hedge) since i figure its going back down ... dont ask how i figured lol anyway, so i closed it and it opened another one in its place a few min later... thats kinda cool

hmm tried it again but closing just one pair eur/jpy in the hedge and it instantly opened both so now i have 3 (eur/jpy) + (usd/jpy X 2)

i dont think i like it considering i was trying to get the benifits of both +on hedge and original position going back where it should....

Because I am clearly a superior trader to you, my basket hit its proper tp. Yah boo sucks.

What happens when a hedge kicks in is this:

 

  1. the robot moves all stops to zero
  2. changes the TpMultiplicationFactor to 20. The purpose of this is to allow the basket to close with a small profit if the basket that was behaving badly then decides to behave itself after all.

In Private, scoobs and I have been Engaged in High Level Discussion about this Hedging Thingy. He got some great ideas from some guys in Tokyo.

Watch this space for enlightenment, although not tonight as I am going to bed, and not tomorrow as I am busy. Sometime soon, when I have had time to code the ideas that have come out of our Summit.

No point in closing a hedge trade when the basket needs hedging. All the bot will do is send another hedge. Relentless thingies, robots.

just took a manual "buy basket" using the "immediately buy basket" chart label - worked well. 24hv1.7(2)

Made the trade using the indicator as well as the formation of a bullish engulfing pattern.

My concern with this system is small TP vs the large SL. I understand the reasons for both...but it plays on my mind.

Good buy, indys all signalling buy. Ive just been away for 30min.

Will let you know next time Im going away from screen & everyone can get a good trade in.
