I had to watch the markets for a while to get the right times to trade. (and also have a life) But you can also backtest your charts to see where the best times are too. Everyone is in a different timezone so picks the sessions that work best for them.
You will see an hour before Frankfurt opens it's good, then when Frankfurt opens it picks up more, then one hour later when London opens. Then when Tokyo closes during London session there is higher activity. When NY opens it is good, then when the NYSE opens there is another burst and then when Frankfurt and London are closing during NY session is good too, there is heavier activity at all these times. Also before and after lunch in each local market. There are a lot of good times to get in.
