Hi,

Anyone using this system on day trading? maybe on smaller time frame, like M1 or M5 or even on tick charts?

Yes, that's what I thought after this trade: maybe you should stick with the original ichimoku rules. I guess I just needed my daily fix of trading (seems this attitude never leads to wins).

Your results are fantastic especially with all the losing trades you had to, still made a huge profit, goes to show that good MM is the real holy grail!

I can test a pair for a year no problem, its just I havent been having much success with ichi, so if you give me a strategy and a pair I will test them for you and pass on the results

Yes, you are right. I thought this to be the end of a pullback and entered. Still learning (and failing) here.

thanks for the nice words

you can use any strategy you like , as you mentioned you are not having much success with Ichi so i believe it is better that you use the complete signal as posted in the first pages , you choose any pair you like , and you are not testing it for me man , this is something you will do for yourself it will help you sharpen your skills and trust your system .
so it is up to you if you wanna test ichi or not

I would have loved to. I tried testing E/u 4hrs but got stock. Once I close my trade and open it later on to continue from where I stop, it starts all over from square 1 by loading the chart. Or may be there is something am not doing right? Please let me know. By the way your results were great. you should start trading full time right away.

i think u are saying u took a long and your trade failed right ? is this what u are asking why the long failed ? if this is your question this is my answer .
i will tell u how the best set up for breakout should look like and u will know what u did wrong.

take a look at your 4 h chart , u see the last cross below the cloud and the price has cleared chinkou span and price break the cloud ,this is the safest breakout . keep this 4 h breakout in your head and if u want to trade the breakout do it the same way .
all the signal generated by ichi meet in a way or in a another :
1- cross above the cloud
2- cross below the cloud or into the cloud, entry at breakout of the cloud should be confirmed by price clearing chinkou span and u r not facing ks or ts just a few pips away .
3- bounce at 4 h ks or daily ks . (always confirmed by chinkou span) and in direction with the longer term trend .
these are the 3 ways i use ichi .
hope this help if not ask again . if not me maybe another one will give u a better answer .

I've entered long on Gold. SL of 20, TP of 50.

Will post a photo in a sec.

Hi Chngster, well, no argument about your gain, but I think you were lucky. what was the basis of your trade, the TP and SL? I think this was on 5M TF if I am correct, and looks like it was a bounce off the kumo, but what about the higher TF? was there any bullishness higher up?
the down move so far has made over 100 pips from the top.

What signals did you use for the short? I ask because Gold is obviously in a long run up...
I'm looking for 1 pair to trade by itself using a combination of CSTL breaks and the usual ichi signals.
The rest I am looking to trade long term on 4hr and Daily with maybe 1hr entries/4hr bounces from Ks points.
I have other systems I use to day trade (not ichi) but I would like to include it and I don't feel comfortable trading many pairs on the 5min timeframes so I just want to concentrate on 1...maybe GOLD, maybe GBCHF, not sure yet...

it was a kumo bearish breakout on 15 and 30 min and weak TS/KS cross on 1H. gold is in an up general move but CSTLB can put you in position for correctional moves. better be careful though of the spread with your broker. Any pair can be used provided you know what you're doing, and I can see you do.

Doc , you must use the tester it will save you a lot of time and a lot of money

Vic much respect to you SanMiguel, Ibtrader, Bones and other members who have made this thread a success. I start reading the thread and have gone through over 40 pages and will try and complete my reading by next week.

I have also started reading the pdf, which I will complete today......Ichi is sooo amazing and will be making it my new tradin strategy.....it forces one to be patient/discipline and to follow the rules. I notice that you guys have a few update to how you trade, example automatic KS lines fr daily or other TF.

What is the tester or where can I jump to to add it to my chart. How do I join the ichi group you created.

Very impressive. I see members speaking of stayin in front screen constantly if lower TF is traded. I would like to suggest every1 backtest to confirm that the mkt move primarily between : 1 hour b4 each mkt open and 2 - 2 1/2 hours after open.

Loooking forward to joining this group.
