not entirely certain of this, but filtering by only news regarding jpy might help too

That would take us back to where we were before Scoobs introduced his enhancements to the news filter, so I am not sure this would be a help.

Thing is, a major news release that affects one of the pairs just after a basket is taken can blow an entire basket off course. If Scoobs says all the pairs need to go into the news mix, then all the pairs will go into the news mix.

They do. Unless you have vast resources available to ride the wave. Which I am guessing, people here do not.

Hi Keith,

You need to change the value of the Criminal code in the EA. Open the editor and find the line highlighted in red (its in the first section on code, the others are there for a reference point):

extern bool OnlyTradingThisSystem=true;
extern string TradeComment="Basket 24H trade";
extern bool CriminalIsECN=false;
extern bool TradeSundayCandle=true;
extern string stu="-----Stop trading-----";

and change it to this:

extern bool CriminalIsECN=true;

Mine worked fine after that. Steve mentions it somewhere, however as I'm a noob I didn't pick up on its significance.

And then press the F5 key to recompile the edited source code.

This highlights something really useful that all non-coders could do with learning.

Click on the first of the links in my sig and find the documentation about editing script codes. The stuff you read there applies to ea's and indis as well.

You will all make your lives so much easier if you just learn this basic stuff about customising inputs to suit yourself.

Just do it, ok? You can't lose anything. I promise.

No trades during the night - but two sell orders exected on both the 24h and the 2.5V @ 07.03am - I thought they were looking for buy orders only from 6.30am looking at the trading method pdf

Mine executed a SELL basket at 0700 Zulu when it was suppose to monitor for BUY XXXJPY on the standard EA.

The 24H version doesnt look at BUY or SELL times anymore. It will just place an order if the conditions are met.
