scooby-doo BOJ JPY pairs trading robot

I know how to work out the different timezones, and i thought i had it right, but now I am in doubt.
First post says to use oanda (I have always used this as a reference) to check Tokyo open, but scoobs said to use timezoneconverter, there is 1 hour difference between both of them, should we use first post or scoobs recomendation as a reference to make our timezone calculations?

What is the time were you are now. Im 21:46 London which is the same as GMT so therefore what ever your time zone add or subtract it from my current one. So for example standard setting in EA is 22:00 & 6:00, so if your in say NY, 5 hours behind, your setting would be 17:00 & 1:00.

10 minutes from now, check your local time. Whatever that damn time is, enter it into your sell hour. Add 8 hours to that time you just entered, and enter that for the buy hour time.

If you can't do that, then seriously, stop posting in this thread before you drive away our gracious hosts.

That is one of those different criminal = different feed = different results. My Alpari UK demo 24H basket taken out at roughly the same time as everyone elses is still into dd an showing no signs of recovering.

When it does, if it does, it will do so in seconds. If it doesn't, it will hit stop loss and give us all a reality call.

I am not asking about robot trading times, I am asking which web should be used as a reference. In first post you wrote to use oanda but scoobs said to use timezoneconverter, and they show different info.

I would rather leave the thread open to those who can take benefit from it. Without doing so, the likes of matrixebiz and challenger88 to name but two, might not have joined, and we know what benefit those two brought with them. Who knows what future contributors might have to offer.

In the meantime, I am simply exercising my right to add contributors to my 'ignore' list if they irritate me by asking questions about this. I feel bad about this, but the alternative is feeling the kind of fury I felt a few minutes ago. I do not see why I should put up with this.

Hi Scooby and Steve,

Just finished reading the thread and testing the main EA. Looking good so far, I am turning it on live for the first time now.

I'm a trader working for a prop firm by day and have been learning forex for the past year or so. The market has so much potential, still trying to nail down a good strategy that gives me a solid edge, this looks like one thought.

Anyone here using Tadawul FX as their broker? I have been with them for some time now and find them decent, some of the spreads on the exotics are a little large though. Scooby, do you think the spreads are too large for this trading system?

P.S. do I set my time to coincide with the sunrise on Mars? If so, would I divide that by GMT, then add my local computer time? Do I do this all while standing on my head, and what time is it in Japan anyway, do they have some thing to do with the system?

On demo, I have turned off the news filter just so I can play out tonight.
