By the way Trading801, a new rule for me, I have them written and printed, I add "Not to test a trade on my live account". Yesterday It was a big bad day for me, but I enjoyed it I'm nuts, but what the hell, I don't want to be stressed because of trading... so I take it the best possible, today is a new day, so I will gain some pips .

I know you think its stupid, but just look at daily and weekly charts for a month. Do not place a trade unless its in the direction of the major trend and at a support level. Read PeterFM and plan your trades either on a break of the S/R or a retest of it. Once you do this for a while you can move to smaller time frames, but you still need to watch the major trend. Or ignore this at your own peril.

forex4pty to trade long term , u need to be able to stand big draw downs and patience .. i am sure jay walker have -100+ pips and its nothing.. and u need to have extreme patience.. my longest positon was 2 mths !

will definitely join you guys often. im gonna start on forex again by next week. having a break due to crazy losses..

You place your trade with the same rules----1% to 3%. Base the stop on the last swing low or high. You could enter another way but that's a little harder to explain. The important thing is that you learn the entry method because short term trades require an entry and exit with a good risk to reword ratio. I should leave your koalas alone.

Thanks Knuckledrag, yes I'm trying to do the same I do when scalping, but you gave me another point of view, I wasn't looking the correct point of entry, I will be practicing on my Demo Account, to see if I understood... I do what you said, I look the Monthly, Weekly, the daily and H4 and lower to see the Resistance and supports the majors and minors ones. My problem is the entry.

By the way welcome boringz, don't worry I had the same problem one day, I had to write the post like 3 times.

I will try to hit the market tomorrow, I had opening positions on my demo only like 5 on different pairs, to see which one move better, no more than 15 pips since I open them like 5hrs ago :S

You need to trade the way you can. If you can't stand to see a large draw down---then lower your lot size. Quit looking at lower time frames. Every time frame has the same points of S&P. Nothing on a one hour chart will hold unless you can see it on a weekly chart. Plan what you want, and just move with the market.

If you need to know what others are doing your doomed. Trade what you see going on, and get the hell out when your wrong.

Ok, got it, no don't worry I'm hard to follow others, I like to analyse and see what's best for me. But I follow the recommendations as the one you give me as the same as the ones from Trading and the others Koalas

why do you want to leave the koalas alone

btw sorry i did not specify clearly.. huge draw downs as in number of pips..

RISK is still the same 2-3 % sorry...

proper money management is CORE.

knuckle.. i love long term.. thats why i developed the koala system.. testing it in longer time frame.. i totally cannot scalp to save my life

While gold is not commonly considered as a medium of exchange like paper currency, it still acts as an excellent store of value. On August 15, 1971 the so-called "gold window" was closed. Previously, the US dollar was redeemable by non-Americans at a rate of US$35 per troy ounce. Shortly after this event, General Motors came out with a new version of the Cadillac Eldorado - the longest running American personal luxury car.

In September 1971 the 1972 fifth generation model arrived in showrooms with a sticker price of US$7,546. For that month, the average price for gold was US$42.02. Thus, a shiny brand new Eldorado would have cost just under 180 ounces.

Today, the price of the same amount of gold is US$197,820. Those 180 ounces of gold can now nearly buy TWO 2009 XLR-V Cadillac Convertibles.
