Help please
Does anyone know where the Ichi Guidelines are located that Vic posted on the share drive?

Hi mate,

It is important as a supporting signal that indicates there is some decent strength to a move and a higher likelihood that the move will continue.

In reality though high TFs supporting the TF that you plan on trading are the strongest supporting signals.

CS can provide some insight into trend direction when a trend line is drawn across the most recent CS highs (or lows depending on market direction).

I am quite sure that lbtrader explained this in some detail a while back in the thread but once again it is not a trade signal but rather a strong supporting indicator.

Correct. Taking a 4hr view on this pair as given its recent range trading I think daily is a little long as the main trading window.

Worth noting the kumo projection direction on all the longer TFs which is further supporting mindset that we may see further upside before the next down leg.

I currently also like GBP/CHF and EUR/JPY to the upside at the moment. Just waiting a little to see the end of NY before entering.

I am using that as the entry signal but the trades are setups based on other factors such as longer term kumo projection and divergences in price action on longer TFs (4hr and daily depending on currency).

That's a good point - I hadn't considered that before and it might allow you to get into a major trend change early.

Something else I found out the other day researching the web was kumo box ranges. On EURJPY you can see a kumo box range and the vid I saw discussed how the kumo was spending more and more time in the upper half of the box and a larger percentage of the kumo was bullish indicating a subtle change in the order books - something to keep note of and see if it happens (this is a long term daily view though):

I give the range so that people who are learning can see the key areas of support or resistance that I am looking at as being important for consideration.

You can be assured that all trades end up with R:R of at least 1:1 once updated, I do not enter trades without this minimum R:R ratio.

It's not 100% bullet proof but can give a bit of forewarning, especially if you cross reference against correlating pairs and find a similar theme.

Regarding the box range on the kumo, you've found a really great example!!

That is a really great point that everyone should pay attention to and read up on if you've not heard of this method of ichi chart analysis before.

It is a phenomenon that can be really beneficial in suggesting longer term trend commencement which is always great for getting in at the bottom!!

Great eagle eyes SM! Will be watching this closely.

I am a little concerned on the E/J buy move right now as I would like to see it test 134.00 before heading up for a nice bounce.

If it doesn't happen before I go to bed I might place a buy stop order there to catch it overnight and into Asia.

No problems mate.

As long as you use trade suggestions to assist in confirming your own analysis rather than blindly following them like some new traders do on occasions they can be really helpful.

I find seeing other people's trades live as they are placing them very helpful as well!

i just tried it on few of the curr pairs..on 15 min charts..just to test it out(noobs) ...earnd me 60+ pips in no time... nyehehehe im still chickened out each time it does the "faint" to the other direction....i must brainwash myself from that stocastic thinggy...

Hey Guys,
I've created a couple of custom indicators that are really just ichi-aids. No new concepts just an easy way of seeing some of the available ichi info. The first one - HigherTF_TSKS , puts a couple of hash marks just to the right of the current bar showing where the TS & KS are on the next higher timeframe. Pretty interesting how often the Higher TS or KS coincides with a past or future support on the lower tf. Very often the higher TS aligns exactly with the lower KS which makes sense considering the KS period is about 3X the TS and the TFs are anywhere from about 2x to 4x as long. I'm trying to determine whether it means anything when they Don't align.

The 2nd indicator is - T&K2PA_vs_ATR , which is in a separate window and show the distance between the price and the TS and the price and the KS as a ratio of the current ATR(14). IOW if the indi shows a KS value of +2.3 then the price is currently 2.3 avg bars higher than current KS. Interesting for watching whether price is too overextended to enter now, or conversely, a hook from extreme might show an exit opportunity.

Anyway I thought I'd post these to see if anyone finds them useful, and to get a bunch of extra eyeballs on them to see if patterns emerge. My line colors are Goldenrod for TS and DodgerBlue for KS, but you can change them to agree with yours in the indi inputs.

I see that some people have taken the time to create different custom indicators and EA's for ichi.

I am including myself in that boat and would like to take this a bit further by requesting that all of you who are interested in cooperating in the creation of a custom ichi indicator(s) or EA(s), contact me or reply to this post.

I don't necessarily believe that an EA would be the right way to go but, I am willing to try it. We can maybe try an EA that only presents an order window to be confirmed by the user and would only be triggered if we get all five ichi signals for strong buy/sell.

Anyway. It's just a thought. I have posted mine and am willing to cooperate with any and all who may also be interested in the creation of such a tool.
