I see the problem and won't make any more posts lol. I did not see the new ffcal when I fired up the new version. The suspeneded only occurred when the old version of ffcal was loaded. Loaded the new one and started the ea again with no news items.

Sorry again and thanks to everyone for all the hard work. It is still a little scary about the basket that was opened last night with -300.00 then bounced back this morning and closed in profit. That is why I was asking about the hedge part in these cases. But reading over the posts I see the answer and will just sit back and watch.

Dunno, but that's what it did
This happens to be the h1 instance that did it. I am running m5, m15, h1 and h4.

was just replying that it wasnt the news issue that stopped the trading here, I know my setup is not the norm, it's for testing purposes

I think we decided that the 15m TF was the best. Let's all stick to this for testing untill we get the bugs ironed out. After that, then maybe explore other TF's.

Has there been a change? Last I heard

"The indicator to use for this method is RS_GROUP_JPY Strength Index which should be placed on both timeframes. When the line is below 10 or above 90 on the lower timeframe and below 30 or above 70 on the higher timeframe then we have a setup to enter our trades."

Yes. I am getting confused now also.

Basically:

BUY if 10/30 and SELL if 70/90

I will refrain from making any further comments about my testing of the other timeframes, sorry.
Will stick to the m15 for this thread purposes from now on.

Probably a bug in the code. Nobody should be trading over V2.3. I posted 2.4 because you asked for it; at least I thought that was what you meant by your post 1777 reply, "Im in".

Sorry if I misunderstood. The robot to trade is V2.3.

sorry about this guys but ive got an alarm about invalid stops, its trying to send orders but keeps alarming out. Ive sorted out the FFCAL problem.

Thanks steve Im using v2.3...and no "Im in" meant just that ...I was interested in a copy ...so thanks.

But cant get this alarm to quit ... using 5 digit broker

My screen is showing white line readings from the above indy and not RS JPY Strength Index. I'm a bit confused. EA V2.3.

Mine does to, but I don't even have it in my indicators folder. You can be sure the EA is not calling it, but the new index.
