if you find a way to do it, fantastic. Of course it will be way way way better than what it is now. But normaly when you try a basket trading, you already are excluding deep quant analysis to predict which currency will move more or less.

but i know there are the two patches. I saw in another thread a guy with super complex method to trade the most optimized basket. It is certainly something does'nt wish to do.

I have just noticed something very interesting but it will probably annoy Steve.

We do need to put NZDJPY and CADJPY back into the indicator's equation.

Why ?

The JPY is getting hammered because of the CADJPY which is affecting its other currency pairings to lose value.

This will mean that if your broker does not support CADJPY then you will have to find another broker.

If JPY falls against CAD usually means either Oil is rising and/or further news regarding CAD which will cause JPY to lose value against ALL its currency pairings.

This was a total oversight on my part. I have taken the necessary action and slaped myself on the back of the head.

Yes, good idea IMHO. It seems slightly backwards to be trying to fine tune a robot which may be getting very different input signals in the first place.

Also to ensure that everyone is using the same settings, you can easily make a settings file readable as it is basically plain text. Just save the .set file in the usual way and then add .txt to the end of the file, so you end up with filename.set.txt - It now opens in a text editor. - see attached example.

Just woke up and checked if a sell basket happened last night, and found it did and it was in dd -208.00 two minutes ago, but now -98.oo. I woinder if hedging could be placed to kick in when a pair goes down by a certain amount. Or whatelse can be done in this case just close the baset and take the loss? I still have the basket open.

Last night's buy hit TP at 13:24 GMT. Aud, Chf, and Eur finished negative. Usd and Gbp, positive.

The basket just closed with reaching upl of $30.00. Is this normal to have a basket -209.00 one minute and go to positive $30.00? Very scary

Buy baskets from today's 7.46 closed at TP right now. But it seems that it was not caused by BOJ intervence

I don't know but you see how simple it works, so in your ImmediateBuyxxxJPY() function is there some other functions it needs to have run first to acquire the pairs before the ImmediateBuyxxxJPY() function will work?
Can you re-write your ImmediateBuyxxxJPY() to be stand alone and not require any input from other areas in the EA? if you send me the modded EA I'll take a look at it. I thought someone posted scripts to open the Baskets, can't find them now.

The same thing happened to me too. The basket was open for 7 hrs . But as Steve said a basket has a tendency to rebound after a DD.

It was caused by the favorable news for the basket, in other words "pure luck", BOJ had nothing to do with this tp.

Restored indi is in post 1. I am going to look at encapsulating the code within the robot, so we don't actually need the indi.

Nice, good luck I tried that but failed Hope you can do it. The issue I had was getting the correct White line (T3 array) value to be calculated when I calls for the RSIbasket value.
