Can you add a parameter to ForceClose all trades if a trader wants to and also display on screen what is the net basket profit/loss
Also automatically adjust TpMultiplicationFactor,EmergencyTakeProfit & EmergencyStopLoss by checking MarketInfo(Symbol(),MODE_DIGITS). if it is 4 then divide the default by 10

I was checking on heaps of market hour sites and most of them saying that Tokyo is open 9 hours. Which would make the settings be 17-2 for EST and not 17-1
Anyone - probably scooby - has a sure source of the tokyo market hours?

So what is the answer? Obviously nothing could ever go wrong with this system because it is based on inside knowledge that this is intervention by BOJ that will always happen? Scooby seems to be going for higher TP based on support/resistance, but we don't.
I don't think the risk to reward ratio is as bad as BullRun feared, I would think about half as bad. But is still a concern, and his question a constructive point, or not?

Cautious? Anyone know what is the risk to reward ratio is on this strategy. From looking at the trades taken after a few days, it looks like around 1:40 which I think is a very very poor ratio. If all 5 trades hit SL, you could be out by about 40% of your capital and there is nowhere you could ever recoup that loss with the current ratio. Am I correct?

My experience of basket trading is limited to just over a year. Mind, for 9 months of this I have been trading my KG Range trading robot live. In this time, baskets have not needed a losing exit strategy.
The whole point of trading a basket is to smooth out the difference when some trades in the basket go well, whilst some go badly. I trade the KG basket Range trader on the basis of trading lots small enough that the combined movement against me of several baskets cannot be large enough to threaten the account.
Those KG Range baskets can be in dd for ages when they go really bad. The point behind my question was to see if there was an exit strategy it is possible to automate, to take care of bad baskets. It is still unclear whether those of us trading the KG robot live should simply accept a bad basket closure on the grounds that it frees the robot to trade and make profits to make up for the losses.
scoob's recommended multiples for lot sizes and tp's result in figures far lower than those set by the KG robot. That has survived unscathed and well into profit for a considerable time, so I am inclined to trust the judgement of someone who would trade far more conservatively.
Yes, from time to time a basket will go bad. So long as it does not threaten the account, we can afford to sit it out, or decide when to close it in order to start making profits again.
