Yes, I have seen and pointed out several instances where the FF calendar was incomplete or wrong. I have been checking against DailyFX as well and also My news wires give me a great calendar as does Oanda.

If i were relying on an MT4 Robot that uses FFCal to trade a live account then i would be asking FF where they get their information from ASAP!!!

For safety reasons you should set High=True, Medium=True, Low=True if calling from other EA's.

Just had to have a toto earlier. I was watching the indicator on H1 & M15 charts before the start monitoring time. Looked so good so I played & sure enough a basket was taken. Had to go sort out the cat that runs us humans here & came back to that "... has hit upl & is being closed screen.
Gave me a +233 basket.

Reset my properties and all running good. Now a line pops up replacing the normal comments with "Trading suspended because of news item", all well & good, but then it goes away & back then away ...
Would the ea be looking to trade just while that news comment is replaced by the normal
BaseLot size...

Selling/Buying hour starts...


I have hit the big stop the ea button. So got X instead of smilie in the corner.
Will load up the v1.9 the 2nd.

My h1 instance of the bot took a short basket before the session now shows closed. I'll let you all know how it turns out, even though it shouldnt be trading right now.

I had tried to cut down the robot's processor footprint by limiting its calls to FFCal to one a minute. That this allowed the robot to bypass the news filter only showed up whilst it was awaiting the news events described earlier - hence the flashing screen as the robot displayed first one set of info then another.

Sorry guys, really sorry but the fix for this is essential and is in post 1. Typical example of me trying to be too clever.

I'm getting a constant " Sleeping for 1 minute to give time to initialize" message that doesn't turn off. How do I fix that? Thanks, Delage

my basket ea took a sell trade although index on one hour does not look right. I am not complaining becuse it is in its way to t.p

Mine took a trade too but only 2 pairs in the basket. Right now in + but time will tell.

The index on each chart is only for your visual. If you set the M15 indicator properties to 90 50 & 10 lines only and set the H1 indi to 70 50 & 30 lines only, does it look any closer to having crossed?

To be honest I don't think there is a substitute for a human looking through the news and judging their impact. I mean OK it can be done by a machine but it's way too complex for us to implement. So I suggest use the current FF news filter in the EA but don't rely solely on it, especially if you trade any serious money live. I mean come on, automation is good but lets keep it real, shall we? worth using our brain a bit or it will die fast...

Just my 2 pips.

when it seems like its about to place the orders it comes up with an error(130): invalid stops.
