Good morning everyone,

Well I know Iwill get shot down for this but I have to ask.

I am hopeless with these times.

I am in Australia and my Broker is +2 I have times set on EA sell @22 and buy @6 ..... nothing is happening it its outside trading hours.

HELP ?

That was nice. I mean, demo trading is fun when it works out, but nowt beats the buzz of a live success, however tiny.

And they don't get much tinier than an eglobal cent account.

Never mind. I need my occasional moment of triumph.

I logged onto my work trading platform and there was huge resistence stopping it but those BOJ traders dont like being put down in their trading session.

Which part are you in Australia...??. if not mistaken, Australia is so big and it has 4 time zone. Based on the indicator that I post in Post #3, you should be able to point out your computer time (local time) and Tokyo time.

Okay..could please give your Tokyo time and Local time that stated in that indicator..

You do have the correct indi loaded, don't you?

The reason I ask is, um, er, shuffle shuffle cough, I didn't for a few minutes when I first loaded up the robot. I forgot it is accessing a different indi version to the one I am used to using.

Can't think what else might have stymied it.

Tokyo time was 0 GMT Local Time was 00.30 GMT

I am in Melbourne.

I had the old one unedited by Scott. Make sure you have the indi from post 1 in your indi folder also.

Hi guys,

I noticed that the connection speed (you can see it on the bottom right) can "influence" to open the trade or not.... if it's too slow you're not getting the correct information on the indicators...


I noticed this because I was trying this EA on both Alpari UK and FX Open and there were huge differences on the indicator and that's why I noticed those differences....FX Open was at about 11 Kbs.....

I'm trying now with Alpari UK and Eglobal and are both with the same information on the indicator as are both with a good connection speed.

Also, on Eglobal I've the message "outside trading hours" and not on Alpari UK and are both with same setup.

I did. But not from the basket.

Disabled the basket as soon as I saw the yen weakened over the weekend, and expected the Tokyo session to close the gap as soon as possible.

So went short on GBP/JPY and EUR/JPY and closed out my position as soon as the gaps were filled.

Will trade the basket tomorrow, and we will see what happens!

Hope all of you made some good pips this morning.
