Hehe. You have no idea how many V1.6's went up tonight. During one of the many updated updates, I forgot to update the updated instructions. Got a headache yet?

If in doubt, simply re-download V1.6 from post 1. Again. Then read the instructions. Again. Then go to a drug rehab unit and hope for the best. Again.

Seriously, the instructions you refer to were the result of some confusion on my part. There is, in fact, only one public hols setting.

Ok, tis just gone midnight on Sun 8th Nov.

I cannot think of anything left to do for now. Sunday is a busy piano teaching day for me, so I shall not be around until much later on. The next meaningful stuff will probably happen just before London opens on Monday, given that trading the Sunday candle is not a good idea.

This week has been a real blast - the best I have enjoyed since finding FF. Thanks to all of you who have contributed. Double, triple and quadruple thanks to the main contributors scooby-doo, smjones and, without realising it, KG.

Sorry, I meant you should not trade the first sunday candle on your lower TF. After that it is normally ok to trade.

Also, i have been doing allot of thinking about the different TF's.

We should just use M15 and H1. Reason being, lower would give us false signals, higher wouldnt give us many trading signals.

Sorry if this causes extra work.

hey guys is there a way that you can have an alert for my phone when the trade is is the overbought. so when Im on the golf course I can make the put then make the trade??? or when im sleeping.

So I have read the BOJ document several times now and am absolutely amazed and fascinated. The implications here are in my opinion staggering. I know of and use several news feeds that are real time and included no extra charge with an account. Oanda, IBFX, FXCM to name a few. All of these post in real time. In the article, it was mentioned that the probability of continued intervention is highly positively correlated with the public intervention process and that over 66% of all interventions fall into the public category. There is even a larger number of publicly know interventions when you factor in the detected interventions, (no public announcement).

Then we come to the second part of this in that the main method and by far the most accurate and effective means of knowing these interventions in near real time is from the FX traders themselves in the form of the news reports from wires. and the rumor reports regarding detected interventions.

Then given the fact that most interventions that have been made public are followed by further intervention until the desired result is reached, gives an absolutely wonderful opportunity to take advantage of what the BOJ is offering to any FX Trader, (large or small) if they choose to pick up on it. This is extremely interesting to me, because I usually have my feeds going the entire time I am trading and have seen these reports and never before realized that the implication is not only for the intervention that as been reported, but that there is a very high probability of continued intervention and not only that, but the goal is already known from the wire reports and a FX Trader can simply continue to profit until the goal is either reached or the BOJ announces otherwise. Or, the failure of the BOJ to reach it's goal can establish the secret operations, which in them selves are more likely to be detected than not and give the FX Trader a heads up as to the BOJ's opinion of it's own credibility on influencing the market at that particular time.

This is stunning! Of course what it means is that for the BOJ to successfully complete it's intervention operations, Much more often than not, they are enlisting the aid of all participants in the Spot FX arena, in a synergistic fashion. With the only exception being when they are leaning against the wind. Even then, if an astute trader were to pay attention, the trader would very easily be able to pick up on which way that wind was blowing.
And, even in the case of a failure to reach the desired result, there will be more interventions, until the goal is reached; and either public declaration or secret detection vastly ensures that the intervention will be known at large.

I find this thread very interesting, and while I don't generally like EA's did download this one- I wasn't aware there were EA's that would look at multi TF's and Pairs for signals...

Just curious-- any plans on an EA that monitors both EU and UCHF-- when they both reach the 15m 1hr OS OB rules?? (inversely of course) This would filter out EU or CHF only moves.

Most of my trading is based on what the other currencies are doing- for example I look for direction from the UY and GU to trade the GY. Or I watch the EU and GU to trade the EG. Its easy to see when one currency is either being manipulated or a stop hunt is taking place (usually they won't stop hunt AU when they are hunting EU and GU. It would be difficult to EA alot of this- for example- watching GU in low holding pattern and the UY bouncing off a lower fib retrace to determine GY direction-- but oddly enough a trade can be managed... And just the inverse is true-- if one is watching GY they can derrive moves on UY or GU- or just filter and not trade at all (or understand why one is "ranging" why the others are volitile. Often you can jump from one to other-- if you see a huge drop in GU and they are holding EU -- then a weaker GU means sell EG and grab the pips you missed on the GU Drop. (typically the moves are AU, EU, GU in early session so if AU starts to move-- look for moves in EU and GU..

Of course there are other rules as well- like the majors only set their session high/lows in the first 2 hrs -last 2 hours and the crosses are "handled" in mid session- once you "see" what the session highs/lows are it makes trading the crosses mid session a bit more predictable

It was France and the UK that were talking it up.

I noticed you EA opens the trade when the lower time frame is above 90 or below 10 and the high time frame is above or below 70 or 30.

Perhaps I have misunderstood, but i think I recall Scooby Doo stating that the lower time frame was supposed to go above or below 90 or 10 and then hook up or down out of 90 or 10. something like this. If I am wrong, I apologize for bringing it up and hope for a clarification.

good call mc. This makes me nervous because sooner or later they will pass this tax and when they do ...it will be hefty. thats on top of the regular income tax. not good

However, last Friday it took the buy trade when the indicator was above 90 and had not dropped back down, causing a less than desirable entry. It still worked out well though in the end. but, it did take the trade above 90, not when it hooked down.

Again, if I am missing something, please accept my apology.
