No, its ok Steve, i got confused, the FFCal only calls the xml every so often, so its ok for you to leave it as 1 minute.

I just want to make sure . . . . I use FXDD which is a 4 digit broker

Us using 4 digit brokers do we need to reduce some of the appropriate inputs by 10 such as 2000 to 200. Just want to be clear My understanding was Steve's robot defaults for a 5 digit broker

This prompted me to add an brief explanatory note to the inputs descriptions.

Of course, my use of the term 'criminals' might get some people worried. No bad thing; worried is probably a good state of mind to achieve when trading forex.

I would like to try and clear up the issue of time, once and for all. The reason so many are having trouble with the time thingy (other than not engaging in the manly (womenly) art of reading the whole tread) is that time is changing! It is speeding up (a second is now less than a second)and will continue to do so until the 2012 Winter Solstice

I have just tried to download a few of the scripts on the first page. For some reason, it wants to save them as a .php file and not an ex4 or mq4.
This is true for the FFcal and the strength indi.

Am I doing anything wrong?

Are you using Google Chrome ? Try with Firefox and will work. I had the same problem before.

I know you can't resist, but was curious whether there were any more additions you were planning to make before market open sunday?
Been following today, and it seems like you may have accomplished the additions so far that were on the plate?
If so, I'll download the latest and put it in place for market open, otherwise I'll wait until tomorrow for v4.2

Please read the BOJ Intervention Policy .pdf file i posted.

You will then understand this trading method much more.

Just because something seems too simple does not mean it doesnt work.

I know it is early days but others have seen what happens prior to Tokyo open and close.

Steve, just a quick question about the Holiday settings.
You talk about 2 settings (Next Public Holiday 1 & Next Public Holiday 2) but I can only see one setting in the EA, this being 'NextPublicHoliday'. There is no 1 or 2.

(P.S. What we really need to do to box this EA off is design a new renegade indicator known as a 'NDFTCI' or 'Natural Disaster Forecasting and Trade Compensator Indicator'. Seems to be the only major obstacle between us and world domination Shouldn't be too difficult. Get to it you guys )

When you get that php. thingy just change the name to what it is supposed to be and put the option below that to 'all files' and then download it. It'll work.

Or simply download from the pulldown menue for attachments in the top right corner, beside page numbers of the thread. Download is with correct name from there.

Hehe. You have no idea how many V1.6's went up tonight. During one of the many updated updates, I forgot to update the updated instructions. Got a headache yet?

If in doubt, simply re-download V1.6 from post 1. Again. Then read the instructions. Again. Then go to a drug rehab unit and hope for the best. Again.

Seriously, the instructions you refer to were the result of some confusion on my part. There is, in fact, only one public hols setting.

Unless V1.6 has already been replaced by a later version of 1.6 that has two ph settings that I have forgotten to describe.

NDFTCI coming in the next version. I am already tiangulating the contrafibularities of the matrixical coordinates of the maximally weighted results of the geomultiversial readings from the intergalacticl megawave interception mt4 expert already posted in another thread by matrixiebiz, in order to predict the next ND.

Not having already come across this clearly marks you down as far too thick to gain anything from this exalted thread. Kindly take up Golf instead.
