DislikedSince 2006 the BOJ have constantly denied their on-going involvment in their fx market but everyone knows they are telling big pork pies.Ignored
DislikedAs a general rule they intervene prior to open and close of their session.
However, they have automated systems in place to trade the volumes in London session which have not been liquidated during their own.Ignored
DislikedSorry. I missed this first time around.I was just doing a trawl through the most recent posts and picked it up.
It seems a little strange that the lower tf's did not take a trade but the 4 did. To be honest, I have no idea why this happened. I will think about it; in the meantime, perhaps you could keep posting if this happens again.
I cannot see anything in the code that would stop a second basket being sent with a different magic number. I will look again in the morning when my mind is fresh in case I have missed anything.
Cheers

DislikedNow that is an interesting bit of info. Now I think I understand your 24/5 post you made earlier about trading the JPY basket.
On a related note, do you think the more that banks and institutions exploit or ride on this intervention, the more it will be pushed to less obvious times and more segments in its delivery? I understand, that the y will continue, but as more exploit it, does it not degcrease the effect they were trying for? So, they may move the timing?Ignored
Dislikedhmmmm,
1:1 id like to see some of the bucketshop traders give that a shotIgnored
DislikedSo i can only imagine the coding that went into this. I notice its not a rsi or stoiIgnored
DislikedNot very smart myself, but even I know if I can get someone else to do my job for me, I can just lay back and watch, or not.Ignored
if (Hour()==22&&Minute()<=30&&Minute()<15){ ObjectSet("session_time_current2", OBJPROP_XDISTANCE, 497+Shift_X);
DislikedActually, while is was thinking about it, I might have something for you to ponder. I'm thinking what you are looking for is a way to detect when Market is going to open and cannot use the regular TimeLocal(PC time) or TimeCurrent(Broker time) functions due to different Broker and User Timezones.
So what about taking come of the code from the indicator I posted and using the plotted anchor/objects ??
What I mean is Take for example the "session_time_tokyo2_5" anchor which is Tokyo Open and Compare that to the Broker time moving Object "session_time_current2"...Ignored
DislikedHehe. Not a clue. This is only partly due to too many whishkeysh....
Basically, I don't understand how indicators work. The successful calls my robots made to the KG indi's came down to hours of hit-and-miss coding call attempts.
So, unless indi coders come on stream and say, "The call to my indi is....." I am a bit helpless. That is on a good day. On a bad day, I am a lot helpless.
This isn't a big issue. Ok, I would like the robot to automatically detect Tokyo trading hours, but that is all; I just enjoy automating as much as I...Ignored
DislikedWithout sounding too harsh. Cant people figure out what timezone they are in and therefore know what the difference +/- is with Tokyo ???????
I do get a bit worried that some seem to want everything handed to them on a plate while they sit back and do fcuk all.Ignored
