My Oanda charts don't match my MT4 charts......I strictly use Oanda for placing orders and don't pay any attention to their charts. In my opinion their charts are mediocre at best and not user friendly at all.

My trading decisions are based off of my MT4 charts, I disregard what Oanda is showing - it is simply for order placement.

So I am still beginning my journey - so Sunday night for me - IBFX opens up - I am scouring the daily's - weekly's - even the monthly's - and i see one or two opportunities that may play out - so i keep searching studying - looking - then decide - I am going to play this one - it looks the best, dam that didn't work - -then OH there that one looks good - dam that didn't work - - keep in mind, this is still sunday night and I've found two already - -
So monday after work - - I find three more - - lose ; lose ; lose ; of course I am not following the 'rules' ; of all that i played - none were official - as I was playing a retracement of a nice pin - - or a this could work if it breaks below here.
Tues - - looking and wondering what I am doing wrong - when BANG - there it is - now that one looks and feels right - - of course it does - I missed it and could see the next bar was perfect.

What's really frustrating - our main pc went out about 3 weeks ago, now I have a pc with literally an internet connection - that's it - no word no paint no software to post graphs or anything - so frustrating.

I guess the main reason for the post - is - that BANG - I am hoping that I develop the patience to wait til I see that again - then play the break not a what could end up being a break.
Also note to self - according to previous posts there are UP TO 6 good trades a MONTH - - not a week and certainly not in 1 night PATIENCE @#$*HEAD.

And a couple other side notes -

I think it's James' birthday in a couple of days- Happy B-Day James.

Hey Perch

Print this out, and paste it to your monitor. That way next time you get antsy you can remember these feeling you are having knowing that antsy leads to mistakes. Sounds elementary but this is all repetition and time anyway

Why not enough "because others seems to do this"? Because You need conviction to be able to keep Your rules. And conviction comes from deep understanding of things. Features (Markets) can change. But if You are looking for "What s going on?"... And rarely have an answer...

I put these 5min ppz lines on my charts yesterday morning as I'm starting to trade using Ryan/Jankone's strategy.

Woke up this morning to a definite 'confidence builder' that this stuff works on any and all timeframes! Also agrees with Mike's statement about a static market till NFP...

All I can say is wow.

Daily I4B trade (actually I6B) on the Aud/Usd with a 4 Hour Double Inside Bar trigger. Dale will like this one.

Many confirmations on this low risk, supportive trade. We have the 0.9100 Daily PPZ level and with the trend. My stop loss was placed right below the 0.9100 once it broke. If it broke to the down side , the s/l would have been placed above the 0.9100.


I'm not very good at touch "blind" trades and I don't have to be. I need confirmations in my trading. And PA provides it nicely.
