Hmm I thought the weaker than expected retail sales data throws up the likelihood of a pause in Dec for raising interest rates. We'll see when London and NY open.. I think it's going to go down further.

I'm long to tp at 96-9800

The market sentiment turned bearish lately after coming off new highs. We may have seen these similiar patterns before and will probably reach new highs again.

Also, Australia is the first to start raising interest rates. The recent sell off from after the RBA's annoucement was because of their hints of not increasing in December as their raises will be enough for now. This, along with the pullbacks.

This will however change if more positive data (e.g better emplyoment rates, housing data etc...)

So far the FOMC hasnt given any hints at all on its upcoming interest rate decision. Most likely because they wish not to increase it, but by not revealing so, they won't come under fire from the ECB and other nations that want a stronger USD.

Thats just my 2c anyway...

The 4H chart is signalling bearish momentum. Also its trading lower in the downward channel. most likely the breakdown will happen either tonight at FOMC or at NFP. IMHO, its likely to go down but I've been wrong in past and could well be wrong here...

Only if you plan to scale in; likley add more at around 0.9180 (good resistance) and go from there; might be able to cash out good by Friday.

I did an experiment trade. Had limit buy every 10 pips from .9100 to .8880 last Friday. 19 positions were opened. Closed all 19 positions today at .9113 for a total of 1957 pips if I add them all up.
