did you read the post number 8324? thats just an idea, the spread for aussie is around 2 pips and if you swing trade with 15 minute chart should be ok too and hopefully you can tell me the weakness so i can improve it.

I have one limit short filled from .9020 but I'm a bit suspected about the downside for now with Gold making new high. moreover, I see the development in CADUSD as a signal for Aussie to strenghten today.

how ? my broker does not allow multiple .. when you have a buy open ... closeup when you sell it

as small term player stop loss almost always got wipe out by brokers sepecially when the stop really thin but if we play hedging in the same pair, it may eliminate that dis advantage IMO

above 1cent bet size grows to $6.25 in no time but depend upond your capital/exposure or margine availabe to support the position and the range you try to exploit, try play smaller time frame and smaller spaces to set limit orders, gbp/jpy can move 1000 pips...

I can't with my broker either, that's why I got a practice account with a UK broker; I'm using Metatrader4, which allows hedging btw... You can't do "If/Then" type orders though, which I don't like.

say price at 9000 and you set limit orders long every 50 pips space , and you also set limit short orders the same space pips and , after you bet 1cent price spike fast ... all your orders now filled and you got 5 average long and 5 average short, you repeat again but now the limit orders bet is 5, again price spike and hit all your orders both legs now you had 25 average , and you set again this time 125 and so on when the break out accurs you add to the winning side and ride it.

Ok, thanks for the explanation ... so we take both sides and keep buying on both till breakout, depending on individual charts ?

Now, my broker IB does not allow taking both sides hmmmm

So, we are playing like 1 dollar per pip or less ?

I think a new rule has been implemented for US forex brokers, that you have to close your first position first before you can close succeeding ones:First In First Out. I know some people who changed their accounts from FXCM to FXCM UK or something like that.

Hmm I thought the weaker than expected retail sales data throws up the likelihood of a pause in Dec for raising interest rates. We'll see when London and NY open.. I think it's going to go down further.

Retail sales were overridden by GOLD and buoyant S&P futures.

If Fed rates and US employment numbers come out even close to predicted, I think we'll see the next big move north for AUD + Equities.
