Thanks, I was just demo trading to gain more feeling on Ichi. Just want to learn the way Bull and Vic showed with divengence bar.

waiting for strong KS/TS cross in Daily Chart might be not realistic. these kind of signal might be just a few. what you do if you miss them?

CHFJPY and EURJPY have come back to the 30min Ks now. If there is a close below the Ts, would anyone consider an add-on trade? The safest way of course is to wait for a return to the kumo area again and trade from there, that gives the best R:R if the stop is always behind the kumo but misses out on some strong trends.
I may wait for the 1hr Ks as that is better confirmation of a retrace for me...
These are the 2nd half of my earlier trades still left open.
CHFJPY currently at +60
EURJPY currently at +80

USDJPY is another that I am keeping my eye on at present.

Well, all my trades are with the Daily and H4 trends so I'm hoping to hold them medium term. However, I usually close 50% at the nearest S/R area and those are the short term half of the trade to take some profit.
To me, it seems the best R:R points are trades originating from the kumo. However, EURCAD 1hr from the end of Oct, is a perfect example of how Ks bounces could be used to add on to existing trades. Note that price action gives you the psych of traders. The higher the time frame the stronger the sentiment. So 4h especially 1d and 1w gives you a stronger view of a trend. Then, you have less noise. The only draw back is that when there is trend reversal, you will likely not know on time. Well If you are a trend trader you should be ready to sacrifice some pips, because you don't try to guess a change in trend you confirm a trend is on and jump on the trend and ride on it till the sentiment changes, While that is happening you look for confirmation, thereby loosing some pips. I don't set profit. I allow Ichi to tell me to get out.

PA is a bit swingy at the moment so I've decided to leave it and not increase my risk at present. I'll take a trade nearer the kumo if it keeps moving in my favour.

Well, that's the 2nd 50% of EJ and CHFJ stopped out at b/e. I will be looking for a re-entry under the right conditions.
Now I could have left the stop on this in it's original place instead of moving to b/e but the trades were far in the +pips at one stage. Perhaps I should have taken the re-crossing of the Ks as a bad sign?

Would you say a close under the 4h Ks on eurjpy would be a good sell? or is the daily which is trying to close in the Kumo a warning sign?

I think as it is just at the bottom of the kumo, it may be ok. The warning sign is the bounce from the support area on H4. I'll still take a 30min Ts/Ks cross if applicable and if CS stays below price curve but I'm not entering unless I get a Ts/Ks cross at present.

GJ looks poised for which I will await a 30min cross as well.

Several of us have been impressed with Philipo's great results trading Ts-Ks crosses anywhere on the chart in higher TFs: H4, D and (gulp) possibly W.

When he enters it is always with the trend of the higher TFs.

This is a little test for me to check my understanding of your approach.

Take UCd --
Weekly: strong down trend (no surprise there)
Daily: grinding down since early July and just bounced down off the lower kumo

so far so good, then

H4: we are very close to a X on this TF around 1.0750.

Issues:
1) price is 90 pips below the potential X point
2) price has arrived at the upper edge of the kumo on H4
3) current kumo is bullish
4) chikou has now gone bearish

The H4 issues gives me a sense of caution, BUT I don't see much about that in your posts.

In fact, the higher TFs say down, and H4 *may* soon cross down, too.

So, maestro Philipo, share your knowledge. Use this as a teaching case and share your thoughts.

Any others, maybe GU, worth a comment?

I'm interested in the actual technicals of above but a word of warning...2 words of warning...NFP Friday - . I wouldn't be getting into any long term trades on USD pairs unless I could get my stop to break even on Friday morning and even that's a risk due to slippage if the trade were to be stopped out. Expect a 100+pip move in any direction when that report is released. Same goes for any £ pairs with the BoE interest rate meeting on Thursday.

Hey philipo, thank you for your perfect answer. With my previous question I wanted to know little more about TS/Ks cross on the 4h chart, because you told us you take every TS/Ks cross on 4h, no matter if it's strong or weak.
What i have understood until now is that this cross must be in the direction of the 1D and 1W chart (am I right?)
By the way very very rear it can be seen a strong TS/Ks cross on daily and weekly charts.
