Thanks FX!

Im onto my first real runner! Got in at 4751....still running!! Unfortunately I gotto go to bed...bloody real job! Will close at 4651 for a nice round total of +100.. GOT IT! Off to bed... hope you guys make another 100!

The way I see it as newbie... (newbie to System II)
I have been involved with professional sports for a while now and the similarity between sports and trading is awesome...
The difference between the average sportsmen and the superstar comes down to mental toughness.
We have a unbelievably clear plan to follow here thanks to our leaders (they know who they are and if they don't, thankfully I do ). So all I need to do now is become mentally so tough that I can stick to the plan at all times. How do you get mentally tough?? Trade with real money in real time... My account is not huge yet, but it's real and it hurts when I don't follow the plan.

Cheers everyone and thanks for all the posts..there is a lesson in most of them...

except if some idiot post stock picks to follow...

Banked 70. gunna reduce my lot size now for rest of day to preserve my gain and be able to carry on practicing my entries and exits. still moving to BE too early. Thanks for support FX. really appreciating this.

could have looked like a possible fcr ...
Any tips how to avoid it and to exit early ?

Give more space in the knowledge that on the obvious support and resistance points other traders will come in and protect you. They will do the dirty work so you can keep way from the heat with your stop

ya.. if u stick to philosophies of the plan as to how to play #1 and else u aint need to worry about that hiccup.. not every damn hiccup is a damn fcr to take action on..

even if u take that halluceinogenic fcr u still got sources and back up plan to go to and exit for small loss and reenter to catch the runner..

Its u and your mental lapses.. i can not do anything about that for u or anyone in here..

everything is inplace.. what else are u guys looking for!!!

if u make mistake and u missout.. dig deep go through notes/charts/posts and etc.. before asking such a elimentary question.. and looking for a magicall rescue answer..

I must have mentioned this stuff million times..

Apart from what "the Boss" and Paul has said.....
To add my 2 cents on it, I've read a lot of times Fx telling "a real FCR is a loop"....
What you are pointing is only a 1 bar retrace, a little bit of hesitation, not a retrace..
only IMHO mate...

ok.. i see alot of u closed your paulies and now looking to make sense out of this run and looking for a new trade.. analysing next trade options..

now.. the difference between fxachilies and PaulL vs rest of the gang:

i and Paul are still in the trade.. and u are not..

why am I still in the trade? why shouldn't i be!!! do u see any major threats or fcr broken?.. I dont..

in this case that i am so much into profit i lock in 70+ and let it be untill a fcr is broken. what!!! oh i see... u worried about leaving money on the table.. am I correct? now thats funny.. lol.. on major drops such as this it is a different ball game verses the one when u go into only 40 pips so profit and then face with the retrace.. pure #1 play applies there (max profit on the bottom/top then look for reentery or the otherway).. but here u got to use you position advantage to really squeez every drop out of the ride..
guys this is just simple commonsense.. there is no X's and O's or hard core rules and etc..
it saves u from agonie of false or weak countinuation signals.. and gives u the chance to catch the next wave without a reentery to make mega mega bucks..

this is trading like a pro.. should be your next goal to achive..

I banked over 1000pips last month and that was a bad month.
i give it to you straight now..
if i was worried about leaving money on the table i would have easily been negative, period.. cut and dry. hehehehe.. yep.. been there before.

Yes, i can see that would have been the better way to play this. got excited by a big move and grabbed it straight away. this is not keeping to the plan. will try and play it better next time. Annoying really as would have nothing to lose but could potentially gain much more. In hindsight everything is clear. during such moves the brain is all over the shop. must sort out brain!! a good day at fx apprentiship today!

Understood ... ride the wave to completion ... milk every honey till none left ... hopefully this will stand you well in less exciting days.

Are you out now? I think a good FCR or BB now broken ? Am I correct.

I really don't see what triggered you to take this short, no FCR brake, previous support a little lower (hurdle) at 4626. Please explain.
